I just hate Envy.
c9 just needs to a late game decision maker aside from envy and they are set. early to mid game c9 is tier 1, late game c9 is trash tier.

Secret NOT playing up to par. I am pretty upset that they played the game perfectly and then failed so miserably on the high ground push. IG is NOT a team they should be losing to. IG is barely even a cohesive team this tournament.

It sucks to see Burning lose again. He’s so incredibly talented but Secret is as well. Unfortunate.
^that rosh fight was the match IMO. IG with the miss communication, Clock and Storm went in to try to steal the Aegis, gets nuked then Burning walks in and finds 4 hero ready to gank him.

Also, I don’t keep up with DOTA consistently throughout the year, just here and there. I’ve noticed that a lot of the usual heroes aren’t popping up nearly as much in matches - namely Templar Assassin, Lycan, Omni Knight, Dragon Knight, Nature’s Prophet, Enchantress, Night Stalker, Faceless Void, etc. Is this due to nerfs or just changes in the meta?

To answer both your question in one. You might be able to find some standard drafting methods, but overall it would change from one patch to another, and then change some more within the same patch as new meta are discovered.
TA has been getting alot more play in T.I, but yes with each new patch certain hero becomes more effective than others resulting in more picks/bans. Its more situational now to see those heros you’ve mention in big games.
Right now, the meta is very 5-man centric so hard carries don’t see a lot of play.
TA is still TA, meaning she can be very strong in the right draft and needs a good mid matchup like usual but isn’t picked up that often. Lycan not popular due to split pushing not really being a thing right now. Omni too level and farm dependent and there’s too much AOE for him to be useful, DK still gets some play here and there due to his pushing power and tankiness, NP same issues as Lycan, Enchantress not a great deathballer, NS situationally useful but doesn’t offer much to the team, Void requires too much farm and doesn’t contribute enough to the early and mid game.

Night Stalker is fun as a position 4 roamer, but yeah, situationally useful if superior night vision and 8-second silences are what you need.
