C9 is so frustrating to watch. Both games they were heavily outdrafted. Im not positive if its Envys drafting or the lack of hero pool for Fata and Bone7. Game 1 it was Dragonknight and Furion. Game 2 was Zeus and Legion. I couldnt tell whos playing position 2 and 3? Dragonknight mid vs lina, really? If hes was suppose to be your position 2, how was he suppose to get enough farm to impact as fast as Lina?
Theres was no second core that could help carry the load off Envy. Its like they havent adjusted to the new meta, these heroes were ok early in the patch. I know Bone7 loves legion but thats just such a horrible pick in current meta where teams 5 man down mid, you wont be able to find blink > duel pick offs. You might as well run Clockwork who does exactly the same thing but has better space control with Cogs, and requires much less cost to come online.
If C9 wants to win anything, they serious need to find a true mid player, or another Position 1 player and move EE to mid.
Bone7 is C9’s drafter at the moment. Envy still team captain, however.
i think it’s too much for him to be a carry and the captain. it’s been shown he definitey has the capability to make some sick decisions but when shit goes bad he doesn’t really adapt. i dont really see anyone else on their team taking a leadership role, but maybe fata? bone is too tilty too and the supports seem highly dependent
Bone is said to be the drafter because, according to Envy, he was apparently the most “stable”, or something like that. I just don’t understand why he keeps drafting niche offlaners.
I don’t see how Fata is the problem, his hero pool is perfectly fine and he’s easily the most consistent player on the team. It’s not necessarily his call to have DK or Zeus picked for him when it’s not a good matchup for them.
It not just the offlaners, its also mid. How can you run DK and Zeus mid? You currently need SF, lina, Lesh, storm spirit, QoP, or a TA which i dont believe Fata excels in any of them. This gaves the other team advantage of not having to wastes bans and keep those heros for themselves.
They seem to be running a support 2, that can slowly transition into a carry. A 4 protect 1 game, which doesnt work now.
Envy has mentioned before that they are having internal issues. Wouldn’t surprise me after TI that the team is dissolved down to Envy and Bone7 to restructure.

I’m predicting a 2-0 for EG but I do hope coL gives them great matches. They’re certainly capable of it.

Yeah the crowd at TI5 just enjoys great play. Crowd was even cheering for EHOME even though Secret has tons of fans. Being a Secret fan, I was sad and surprised to see them get 2-0’d by EHOME, but I can’t be that sad since I love ROTK as a player and his story. That player profile vid though… all my feels. 
You’re joking right? People chanted “USA” last year for EG and they’ll probably do it again this year. I don’t see what the problem with that is.
Really heartbroken to see Empire go out the way they did, but Jesus, MVP Phoenix played fantastic. Korean Dota is real.
