edit: That jerk hasn’t done bounty hunter yet! He’s done ursa though so I assume bounty hunter shouldn’t be far behind.
It always seems like bads pick Bounty Hunter right away. I swear to god he’s the most picked pub hero in the game, just like Scout in HoN. 
While BH is not necessarily a bad hero, there are better gankers/carries.
The constant input lag makes this game unplayable as certain heroes.

That’s probably because you don’t have any games on your steam account, steam doesn’t let you add anyone unless you have purchased a game.
As for Bounty Hunter, I personally think he’s one of those “counter productive” heroes. Back in dota 1 he was one of those heroes who screws the rest of your team over early game by taking all the kills early/mid game. That + the fact that Slardar is one of the most common picks and arguably one of the strongest heroes out thus far makes BH a really garbage pick.
He doesn’t have to take kills considering his ult gives him a bunch of gold regardless of who gets the killing blow. The whole slardar thing does suck though :(.
edit: I need to just stop playing skeleton king, I feel like he’s too easy mode and I’m not learning much, I’m up to 17 wins and 2 losses.
BH has been gaining some popularity on some top teams. They use him as a roaming ganker rather than try to use him as a hard carry
Got my Dota 2 invite the other day and I was hyped. Then I found out I wasn’t getting 2 extra beta key invites and while I’m happy to have the game, I’m all jealous of the people who had the extra invites. Basically this is me right now:
Playing for the first time, I figured I’d start off playing someone I KNEW I could play at a high level, because my DOTA skills are rusty. So I ended up picking zeus 2 times in a row and fucking DOMINATED, (Mainly cuz the people I was going up against were all complete and utter DOTA noobs) going 12-1-16 the first game and 8-0-12 the second game. Then I decided Zeus was getting boring so I was like “RANDOM UP IN THIS BITCH!” and of course I random Zeus. So far my record is 5-0, 3 with Zeus, and 1 with Sniper and ES. (Also randomed) Need to get to sleep now but I’m definitely down to play with any SRK heads up in this shit tomorrow.

Ya I would would be down for SRK teams most games are not that serious right now just testing things out with some of the changes. IGN: NvMe probably need something else to find me not sure what though pretty new to steam overall.
As far as BH items it has been a while but usually i end up with Power Treads a couple wraith bands a MKB and a desolator. If i remember right desolator gives more dps then a second MKB.

did you start with 2 boots for wraith bands or did you do shield or axe, tango,health pot, triple branch?
If I know I’m going for wraith bands, bracers, or nulls, I usually buy the circlets first just for the extra stats. You just get more for your money, and those extra stats are really helpful right at the start. 2 circlets and tangos is sometimes my starter build with low hp heros like Sniper or Clinkz, depending on how much the enemy team is determined to gank me that particular match, I either turn them into bracers or wraiths by the time I have treads. OR if my farm is going great that match, I just sell them and buy my straight dps items.

I got into the beta recently, but I haven’t played in any real matches yet. My skills are so rusty that I want to get back into the swing of things before actually playing with real players. Luckily the bots give you…somewhat decent practice. I’ll just have to leap into a real game, skills be damned. I wouldn’t be opposed to playing a game with some SRK’ers sometime. No, I do not. At the time I was added, Valve decided to stop giving away extra keys to new beta entrants. I was disappointed to learn this, as I had a few friends in mind to give any spare keys to. So, no extra keys for me…or most folks, I’d imagine.
Still not doing great with bounty hunter, but I’m generally not the worst on my team either. Had 2 awful games, one I second picked bounty hunter like 30 seconds into select, we had a guy who called mid and said he’d pick around the team and two people with a clan tag. Of course after I go BH both the clan tagged people go melee carry’s(the guy with the time freeze dome and night stalker I think). This meant our bot lane was time freeze dome guy and bounty hunter VS Sniper and someone with a range auto attack and a stun, and then our mid picked clockwork so we had 4 melee and one range. The other game I lost we had a fine team comp and I was doing pretty well in bot, but top and mid fed early and we couldn’t recover with just me and puck. Both games I had the least or second least deaths with solid kills and assists.
So that’s what happened, I was surprised to hear how my friend did not get 2 extra invites when he activated his code.
You are worrying to much about team comp at this stage of the game. Don’t get me wrong it is extremely important, but it is not like LoL where it is almost everything. I can play one hero and never change and as long as I play well and my fundamentals and farming are solid I will win about 80% of those games easy against the lower level Pub’s I have seen so far.
Team comp is only really as important (at a pub level) to get good lanes. Can’t have two carries in the same lane or shit like that. In league (at least draft mode) you can usually get everyone to talk and choose the role they play best.
Maybe when draft mode hits d2 it will change.
Oh ya draft mode will completely change it for the better but until then I wouldn’t sweat it at all. I would almost suggest random button because unlike LoL (where you can clearly see what the other hero wants to do) it is very important to learn most if not all the cast if you plan on getting serious. You have to know what the other character is capable of in Dota because there is no feeling a character out there is just death.
