c.L-c.M-f+H, j.L-H-S, land, c.M-f+H, c.M-S, sj.M-M-H-S, land, DP+L xx QCF+PP okay in this combo the “c.M-S” keeps missing I don’t know why. but as soon as I hit that everything else hits perfectly.

14:25 Hilarious!
ha i always find it funny when ppl try to punish chaotic flame after it’s done. You would think that 2 Dorm users would know.
You can punish chaotic flame on block for free though. Dormammu’s chaotic flame is more than fast enough to punish itself. Akuma’s is also fast enough.
Really? I have yet to even bother since I know it recovers pretty quick and have blocked many attempts. Is it like a one frame thing or just not at full screen??
It just takes some good timing. The other trick to punishing it is not spamming advance guard. If you advance guard at the end, it becomes a lot harder to punish since it leaves you in blockstun longer than if you didn’t advance guard. If they are in the corner and you are next to them they can hit you with pretty much anything. It is -20 on block according to the first post in the Dormammu thread.
And here’s my last few vids for tonight. Damn it takes a long time for these to render in Hd:(:(
Goooood night SRK…
Dormammu needs a little work. You could have slathered a lot of pressure on that guy he was damn near scared to come to you, and he had Wolverine for christs sakes.
You should experiment with Dorm not on point. Those matches seem to have you start off defensively walking or jumping backwards until you get an opening. You might be able to do a lot more damage with Magneto from the start then switch into Dorm later once you set the pace or get a safe switch.
I have played and seen some good people and they almost always start off very aggressive and it seems like they feed off of defensive players. If it’s working for you then keep on, but when you play better people it becomes harder to set up with Dorm on point when you’re getting locked down by a Zero with Sentinel Assist or something like that.
After liberation D3 you can juggle chaotic flame (or also dark hole :h: xx Chaotic flame).
Last night I did 3D0C, Dark Hole H, Chaotic Flame, X-Factor, Dark Hole H, Chaotic Flame. Pewpewpew.
Tried these the ohter day. Link Dark Matter,Dark MatterxxCF it does 20-30k more damage than Dark Matter,Dark HolexxCF. Dark matter is retartedly strong in XFC(Lv.1 is 104k and change…The Dark Matter Dark MatterxxCF Combo is very strong for a Lv.XF) so i tried this: Dark HolexxXFC, Dark Matter, Dark HolexxCF it was about 640-650k. I was fooling around and figured it was good damage, Dark hole XFC Dark HolexxCFlame isnt bad either.
You can also add a dark matter before the last dark hole lol
Oh really? I didn’t know that - good stuff. Probably easier to time than the Dark Hole, too.
I shamefully have not really messed with Dark Matter x2 instead of Dark Hole. I’m so preoccupied trying to figure out a team I like…
Actually I agree wholeheartedly. Initially I was running Mag on point, then doom (missiles) then dormammu (purification). Problem is, I never got to play with dormammu lol. I lost, yeah, but I wasn’t learning dormammu at all. He was just a good assist. So I decided to switch so I could get some actual dorm play in… You know, figure out the ins and outs and the nuances that make him so good. But you’re right… Im A LOT better with mag than dorm due to my playstyle.
Last night I played a bunch of matches against a really good ammy/x23/shulkie team and was having a very hard time. Pretty much 2 on 3. We went maybe 7-4 me, but they were much too close for comfort. I noticed that the ones I won with dorm on point were because 1) I lost dorm and mag wrecked shop or 2) dorm got hurt/killed and/or I got D:3 and tagged mag in somehow. So… I switched to mag on point with dorm second and wow what a difference. We ended up 20-7 or something like that so… Yeah… It’s a learning experience. Maggys back on point for me lol. But after mag does his damage, dorm/doom is plenty enough to kill most teams pretty easily. Still have issues with ammy and x23, but I think it’s because I’m unfamiliar with them.

2/2 is way better than 1/2
Solid Dorm ON POINT! Then again he is using Tron and Sentinel Assist, but still a pretty smart solid Dorm. I noticed a lot of standing M at a pretty close distance. Maybe a good move to use to hit confirm into things?
Hey, I have the same team as him minus the Sentinel and the fact that I use Tron on point (a crime, I know). I didn’t see a lot Dark Spells though but then again, I don’t use them as much as I should either. We really need to find other ways to get some Dark Spell charges in aside from the obvious Stalking Flare and waiting for incoming characters. One of the only times I find myself charging for Dark Spells is when I hit with a Purification. But more often than not, I set a Flame Carpet or pop another Purification instead. Tron’s Gustaff Fire sometimes gets me a charge but I don’t like relying on it.
That was some really nice Dormammu. I never thought about using Mass Change M to make a Flame Carpet cross-up on entry. New technology!
I’m going to add these to the main thread.
