Thank you everyone for showing up and making it an event. We had 17 people. Thank you Mr.12, Lee, David, Dallas, ALAX, Sugafree, I’m sorry I didn’t get Sugafree’s friend’s name, Galzpanic, Karafail, Julius, John, Kazu, The Absolute, Judotrip, I’m sorry I didn’t get the names of Judotrip’s two friends, and Shooting Blankas.
Wow this was a unique night. Besides a few a majority of the MVC3 players didn’t show up but it was still fun because while MVC3 was empty for most of the night there was a lot of action for AE, ST, 3S, and CVS2. I was surprised how this place can still be fun without MVC3. Usually the MVC3 players are the majority but not tonight. It was a Street Fighter night:)

Oh, I forgot to ask you this while I was there, Don: is the Darkstalkers cab balltop? I don’t mind American, but I can’t tiger knee or 360 on those to save my life.

GGs to everyone :D. Twas a fun night. CvS2 and Third Strike are awesome games. Though the sticks on that CvS2 were kinda stiff. But I would rather fight through the pain than not have CvS2 at all.
Who was the Ibuki player? GGs mang, I was using Hugo.

Dude, you were the Hugo player who kept poking the crap out of me all night?! GGs, I should have caught your name while we were playing. The matches were great outside of me losing my streak and also losing to my own main at one point. Yes, I am salty over that last bit. So-so-so salty. :c
Lol yea that was me. Hugos pokes are surprisingly good, use tend to use those a lot. Standing Strong and Crouching Forward are good. Good games though lol. That time I picked Ibuki was kinda random lol. Just using SF4 shit really.
I should have been a bit more aggressive with my parry game, but you mixed up your pokes quite a bit to where I couldn’t predict much. Even then, you wouldn’t stop grabbing me if I got in, lol. Sure, I got around the problems EVENTUALLY, but you play a strong poke game, for sure. BTW, do you actually do the 720 super? I know you picked it, but I wasn’t for sure if you were ever going to use it outside of abusing it as a fear tactic.
I use the 720, problem is that Ibuki doesnt stay on the ground nearly enough for me to utilize it well. There were a few times where I grabbed and I wanted Super instead but my execution was a bit off.
Just out of curiosity (since I play Hugo, actually), do you do the actual 720 motion super fast or do you use that one Japanese trick where you super jump cancel into it? I have clean execution typically, but I just can’t nail it. D:

I do the actual 720 motion.
If I am to do a standing 720 motion, I usually just try to buffer it using Hugos double hand slap thing or something else slow enough. The same rules apply to Hugo as charge partitioning characters. You ever seen Remy move/dash forward but somehow still throws a disk? Same stuff. Basically though something like Standing Strong while doing one 360 motion. Walk forward, do another 360 motion + punch and voila, 720.
Edit: Or do what I did to Don last night. Dash in 720!

Lol don’t worry, CvS2 isn’t that hard of a game if you pick the right Groove. You should give it a go when you have the chance, its really fun. I don’t have to be there

I have been winning most of my matches on stick. The pad matches I’m winning more than losing but losing to some pretty silly shit. It makes me sick!
Sorry about not showing up last night, I was broke.
So get this: I am going on a trip tomorrow to Guadalajara Mexico, and the tickets were surprisingly cheap (530 for two people, round trip). A few weeks ago I didn’t pay attention but tomorrows date falls on 9/11. Maybe that is why they were so cheap.
I haven’t touched live in months, but my brothers have a bunch of accounts setup, so I’ll likely use one of theirs to play (just need to figure out which ones work). I haven’t bought 3soe yet either, though it’s on my to do list for sure. I’ll post up all the details when I’m setup. =P
