I heard that 3SO is hella laggy when it’s played online (PSN) and offline when played on an HDTV.
But ALAX brought his PS3 3SO and we played it offline on oldschool scanline mode on that old CRT TV next to my Astro City, it seemed fine.
But I only played it for one night but again from my experience and on my old CRT setup offline it seems arcade.
There’s a glitch in ranked online with Q. He can only taunt after he’s connected a move (either hit or blocked). It’s super gay.
Ya I heard there are a lot of glitches online.
@Kara-Fail: I heard that El Camino is back in session. I know it’s only been two days but I was wondering how the 3S at the smokeshop is doing. Is there finally comp for it now or is it still just comp for MVC2?
I know it’s still way too early but I was just wondering.

I’ve had zero lag problems playing this game unless the guy was ninja teleporting on the screen. Made it fun, but pissed me off having to guess the entire game.
It’s honestly no different from playing any other fighting game from what I can see, just never play anyone that has an orange or red connection, and it’s still 3rd Strike goodness. And if you get someone with a green connection, you won’t notice anything at all.
That’s good to know. Because I’m always hearing a lot of players bashing this game left and right.
Agreeing with Naked Snake. As long as you stick with Yellow to Green connections you should be fine. So far I had better experiences here than in SF4.
Can’t quite compare it to BlazBlue. That game had smooooooooth connections.

I can’t speak for the bashers and if they’re doing anything wrong on their end or if it’s their TV set up, but from my experience on what I’ve read, I have only messed with one thing that actually gave me immediate feedback.
In the settings option, do not mess with the GGPO frame input thing ( I’m not 100% sure of the actual name, but the default number is set to “2” ), this helps a lot for the game play. If you set it to zero to make it so that input is 100% immediate or something, you will be fighting with the teleporting players, even if you’re at yellow or better. Leave it at the default setting, play on whatever resolution you want; I go widescreen and smooth personally.
Do. Not. Play. If. There. Is. No. Yellow. Or. Green. Connection. That’s the golden rule I’m following and rarely does it break for my play through.
And yeah, I was one of the bashers at first amongst my friends, but I sat down for an hour-ish last night, maybe less, and I didn’t have a bad time unless I messed with the frame input option thingy. It is good from my end, but I also look at it this way: Online is online, and there will always be some lag. Miniscule, sure; HUGE, it’ll happen.

I rely to much on the cr. strong, I can’t seem to go anywhere off the overheads yet I see people use overheads to link into the super. I don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me or if I do, in fact, suck balls at this game
