The MLP thing makes sense, though, as to the decision that was made. I wouldn’t want to be forced to reach some deadline because of a tournament and possibly release something that I didn’t feel was up to par. I don’t think people were ever against getting more money for playing these games. Community is community and will always be there. If there’s a game with a stupid high reward and the game isn’t valued, uh, yeah, people will play it for that reward. If Tetris had a stupid high reward like a car, I’d play it. MLP? I’d play it.
Sell out? Nah dog, I’m cashing in. People wanted the money to come into the scene, here it is. It’s just SFxT getting pushed so hard in spite of the audience. Whoopdy doo, it’s nothing new. Go look at DMC and DmC and all that hate.
Thank you but don’t thank me too much. You’re doing all the heavy lifting. You’re organizing people to get together at WNF when you live far from WNF. You’re going all the way to LA just to bring in new players because they’re showing an interest. Youre trying anything to get new blood like set up GGPO tourneys. And above all you’re promoting a great classic game that gets stigmatized for being too old and senior citizen.

To be honest with you I have no idea when I’m gonna move and I’m just playing it by ear. It could be tomorrow. It could be next week. It could be next month. And (highly doubt it) it could be next year. But the writing is on the wall. I showed people the inside of my house and it looks like an abadoned house lol.
So I’m trying to postpone my move aa long as possible and squeeze as many Fridays out of this as I can lol. Please anyone and everyone join us:)
Btw Don, is there any chance we could run a tournament within the next 2 weeks either over at your old house or new house? We need a venue with a decent amount of space, chairs, and internet so we can stream it.
I’m not sure because I play it by ear these days:( I’ll only know the couples days of that Friday. This house or the other house has no Internet:( I use my bro’s iPhone 5 to surf the net when I can borrow it.

Just to let everyone here know. I stopped texting everyone every Friday for gathering notice. I have not been texting for about a month now. I’m just relying on srk and facebook to get the word out.
