So with UMVC3 lurking around the corner, I’m thinking about playing it. But don’t quote me on it. It’s gonna be a upmountain battle for me if I do. I don’t if I play some of you UMVC3 players at your game, it’s gonna be punishment for me beating you at SSF4. You know who you all are lol.
I like Marvel comics:). I just read the Books of Doom. Dr. Doom’s origin story and it’s quite good. I like how his mom was a satanic witch lol.

Question: why in MVC2 are all six of the God Tier Marvel characters i.e. Cable, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Psychelocke, Storm, and Sentinel. Why no Capcom characters? Not one character can be God Tier? And why does Wolverine suck in MVC2 when from XCOA to MVC1 he was really good?
I didn’t have many reasons for buying UMvC3. Now I do, because beating you at 3s isn’t enough.
MSP and MSS were simply better. Wolverine has infinites in virtually all of the games, but he never had an absolutely safe game like he does in MvC3. That, and I think he was one of the unlucky bastards who were nerfed like Iron Man and Blackheart. =P
The Capcom side has always been meh, even in Xmen vs. Street Fighter. Captain Commando was up there, but not great. Strider is pretty viable, and top tier in MvC1, but, again, compared to the god tier of MvC2, it’s tough to warrant his use with such low stamina. But hey! Look at the bright side! Capcom’s side is god tier in CvS2! =D
Lol. But I will say if you put in the time and energy in UMVC3 as you do in 3S, you would probably be a big threat as well.
I myself am tempted to get in UMVC3 with all the hype and buzz but all the work ahead that I have to do just to be decent seems so time consuming lol. But it would be nice to be able to play UMVC3 at my place with all the heavy hitters hopefully returning and to be able to hang with them. But that would also mean that I would be playing a lot at my home and I also hate it when people have to wait on me when they’re suppose to be playing. These days I just like hosting. But it would be cool to be like Valle or Wong and to be able to play every single fighting game from ST to MVC3.
Hmm, I never thought about the matter that way. Alright, since Marvel isn’t too difficult to figure out anyways, I’ll put in the work. I play a weird team: Felicia, Modok, and Tron. I’m more likely to drop Tron for someone like Nova so I can have a nice anchor and occasional point character to work with.
Sadly no. I wish. But there is always an opportunity for an MVC2 scene here since I own a real MVC2 big blue arcade machine. Here it’s all about MVC3 when it comes to Marvel. I wish old school and new school can co-exist:(. It’s difficult to blend both worlds.
We’re going to have Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 tonight. And for those who care I also have Guilty Gear Accent Core up and running. I need more cabs and more room so I could have every fighting game up and running lol.
