Hi everyone. Inside Ziggy’s Smoke Shop I put two of my machines. Super Street Fighter II Turbo and Street Fighter III Third Strike.
Checked it out today and forced a classmate to go with me so I could beat someone in 3s instead of the cpu. It felt weird putting in a quarter into one of Don’s cabinets… lol. Not sure if it was Mike or Jack I talked to, but he was nice when I asked him about the cabinets and you, Don. After I left, these two guys walked in and were surprised they had street fighter. They then immediately started trash talking about who would beat who. Heh.
Cool spot, but not sure how to populate it… unless people that are going to Gamestop start stopping by in and start becoming regulars.
Yeah. Cool. Hopefully something will happen. I know it’s a hard task trying to get a 3S scene over there since not a lot of ppl play 3S anymore. We’ll see.
i was gonna hit it up today. My friend went in to buy cigarettes and saw the machines before i let him know and he played. ill hit it up in between classes for sure.
Well im starting to dabble a bit in 3S, but ill probably be dropping in whenever im in the area which isnt too far.
I’ll try and stop by during my lunch breaks.

I’m looking to keep my 3S game sharp. If any of you dudes wanna get at me or are willing to learn the game I’m more than willing to show up to this place whenever I can. I timed my drive from home and it’s about 15 minutes.

Um, just read over the other thread and…man. Sounds like a lot of internet-enabled miscommunication and bottled up frustration. I hope it all works out and everyone cools off.
Don, utmost respect to you for opening your doors when you did and hopefully will do in the future. You gave me a chance to level up my game and make some new friends. You did a great thing for the community, don’t let a few small negatives eclipse the huge positives your arcade provided. Thanks.
