Is there any benefit to starting a web swing combo from c.l, c.m, c.h, l.web swing as opposed to starting it from standing?

Hey guys, remember the IOH j.:l: reset in the corner after a spider-sting/bite? Its at 0:43 and 2:14 in this vid:

It’s not possible to do that exact combo/reset midscreen because the j.:l: would whiff, but I found that it is possible to do it midscreen if you crossup with a kara sting and jump forward. Also, not sure if this is just common knowledge, but spider-sting works for kara stings too.
It’s not as easy as the corner version and you need to wait a little longer, but I tested with the training dummy (Dr. Doom) set to holding back and mashing footdive, and I managed to grab him out of the startup of footdive. For some reason, I threw him more often when I was going for a back throw instead of a forward throw. The timing is a little weird and I ate footdives the first couple times I tried it, but it’s better than nothing.

PLayed marvel 2, but my friend and I would just mash. Was not playing competitively because we were young.
I want to play spidey/wesker/strange , would this team work? What are some weaknesses
could i substitute ironman or storm for strange?
Is this a good first team for someone just learning marvel? What are some bad habbits that i should avoid.

sometimes when i otg into unibeam assist to MS. the MS doesnt have a hard knock down and it messes up my DHC. weird glitch any ideas?
Ever tired command hyper throwing them? The glitch makes it into a soft knockdown.
I guess you would have to time it so that you DHC just before they are on the ground, kinda like how you would need to time it to get Deadpool’s Hyper to connect after MS.

Hey fellas, 2tall here again. I have a money match coming up on Friday and I was thinking that I may need a new combo. I use my own version of the combo Otavio uses which is a web swing combo with an assist hook (shout out to KenAdamsNSA) at the end. it goes as follows: LMH xx LWebswing xx MMSst.H xx Mwebthrow webzip otg air S st.Mcr.H xx Lwebswing MMS, st.H Lspiderstingxxbite, cr.H Lspiderstingxxbite dormammu black hole assist otg webzip into web throw into Maximum Spider. This combo is pretty good and with all that work and an assist I can net about 765k on average. DHC into Dormammu and that’s 950k. However, only problems I have with this combo is that 1. I feel that for all the work, the damage could be a little better 2. with the standing H after the second webswing MMS sometimes doesn’t connect. Some times hit stun is on my side and other times it isn’t. I was looking for something maybe a bit more consistent or practical. I’m still in the lab practicing this combo, maybe through just practice I can get it more consistent but I would like a better option. My team is Spider-man, Dormammu and Doom in that order. Thank you guys for the help.

As for the part where you’re dropping the combo, you have to adjust your consistency on how deep you do the zip OTG jS. Ideally, you’re supposed to hit the feet or legs of your opponent otherwise, you’re going to lift your opponent a bit higher with the web swing than should be.
Haha I’ll find a way to step that damage up. And ahhh okay that explains a whole lot! WebZip otg near the feet or legs. That should help a lot. Bout to go practice in the lab. Thanks brother.
So what is the best thing i can get off of the wall bounce from web throw? I’m getting it every time in the corner when i use Magneto hyper grav assist and so far it seems like the best thing i can do is just MS because I’m too far into the corner to land another web throw.

After a web throw to the corner you could call in assist (hyper grav) into cross under spider sting/bite web throw back into corner web throw, web throw MS.
