one uwt setup my friend found was magneto jL on incoming, slight delay, mag tempest, and here you see if they got hit or blocked
if they got hit, you can maximum spider for combo
if they blocked, you can UWT and it’ll work 90% of the time.
pushblocks can make things a little trickier but it is always possible
Launch straight after. st.:h: pops them up further, and the goal is to keep them to as low to the ground as possible.
ok. I was thinking that if you pop them up higher than they take longer to hit the ground so you reach the ground before them. I guess it makes you too high too though. I want to try if you can do this after a web throw into the corner, and if it will get as much as other solo combos that start with a web throw into the corner.
I could swear I’ve seen an old video of that tech or something very similar to it.
I remember seeing a video where the person did j. xx :h: web swing xx web zip from mid screen but I don’t remember seeing anything in the corner.
The one I saw, iirc is done from the corner but started with a ground series to launcher which isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe, if it works with a swing combo before a launcher (without sting), I’ll take some considerable time to lab it. More damage is always good.
Yeah tbh I haven’t really played with it that much and I’m not entirely sure if you can fit a web swing on the ground before it. Airborne said he got a second rep of it, so it might be possible.
how do you get :h: web swing xx Maximum Spider from the first combo to connect? The dummy always recovers before the web swing can hit.

As for the essential bnbs, it’s more team based so I suggest you try to read through this thread (+video thread) from the start to see how to breakdown Spidey’s combos.
You just need to cancel things a little quicker and after the launch you need to start hitting j. immediately. If you still can’t get it try taking out one j. after the launch.

So I’m considering running doom with spiderman since a lot of people seem to like this combination. For the ones that run it, what are your optimized spiderman combo’s with hidden missiles. Do you ever call hidden missiles in the neutral game? What is your optimized combo off the hidden missiles assist starter?

Also, if you’re going to use Doom, get a good neutral assist. His assist is good as a neutral but missiles is just too good for extending Spidey’s combos and setting up resets.
Ok so I messing around in training mode with the corner relaunch stuff if thats what you want to call it, and what I found was that you can do a web swing before it but all you can get after you catch them with the last cr, is st.:h: xx :l: spider-sting. I’ve tried getting medium web throw and it didnt work. Also, you can fit two web swings on the ground in the beginning of the combo but cr. doesn’t even connect into st.:h: at the end.
Maybe you can use fast assists to help you relaunch.
Yeah I think I will get some assists involved next time but I was hoping to get some nice solo damage with that stuff. Even with some assists I don’t think I will be able to get enough extra damage to warrant me practicing it and getting it really consistent. Anyway, Airborne said he had other new things to show us, right?
Can someone explain how to do the TAC airdash thing that gets you a 2nd TAC with Spider-Man? I can’t figure out how to execute it and I am pretty much confused on how it works exactly.

I keep trying that but it just does the first tac then it goes to the next character. Is the first one supposed to whiff? Or do I need to do it quickly or slowly? Also am I supposed to do the 2nd TAC in a different direction than the 1st? Or does it matter? Sorry for being so lost. I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.
It’s kind of quick. You can change directions but the air dash needs to be hit almost immediately after the TAC
