Missiles is pretty meh" compared to drones though for ironman.
I personally don’t care for the ensuing back and forth that’s about to go on but can you at least PM how well Iron Man can be with missiles or point me to someone who uses Iron Man plus missiles properly. I very much would like to make Spidey/Iron Man/Doom my third team. The damage output is rediculous.
Just some stuff from the last tourney, nothing exemplary but missiles are far superior to drones in keeping ironman safe at all times and letting him confirm off random shit. The only thing I believe drones gives you over it is a slightly larger window to rush down with, which isn’t really is strength in the first place. I really do believe it’s his best assist and honestly by a decent margin, especially when considering that Doom is far better anchor than Sentinel and gives more damage to combos.
Missiles cover mixup, in this case cross up repulsar blast while also allowing for confirm:

Decent match overall, shows some missiles zoning among other things.

Ever tinkered with the raw tag combos he and Spidey have? Not just right into poison tip xx Gimlet xx DHC, but into relaunch too on some characters, or immediate L (or M) xx Kiss of Fire xx UWT? Sets up some of the cheesier UWT traps without any of the risks of TAC breaking.
They’re greasy as hell, and raw tag combos are always <3.
What are you guys doing for XF3 combos? It’s rare but you want to be ready for anything. Best I’ve found in terms of pure speed is
cLMH xx L Swing, jH, jS, MH xx H Sting xx Bite, cH xx L Swing, jH, jS, MS^, MMH, H Swing, HS.
About 1.13 iirc and only 1/4 of XF used. Mock if old. Gotta be fast on Sting xx bite because the cancel window is smaller due to the speed boost.
It really does depend on the character and the amount of time on both the clock and on the xf timer. If Spidey ends up on anchor and has a lot of health and I get a clean hit then pop xf I usually just go into the infinite if they have below a mill health otherwise I do a regular combo. In all honesty I probably should just do a regular combo all the time since the infinite takes up too much time. Provided you’re consistent enough though you can just do a regular combo then pop xf at the end of it into the web throw infinite

Yeah, I use raw tags after sting then just s:m: with Hawkeye KoF to UWT whenever in the corner. The problem with getting Clint to extend combos is that his max damage scaling is heavily reduced compared to Spidey’s. Since Hawk doesn’t really good damage (unless you get a poison arrow in), the best option to get more out of the raw tag is to do a TAC. The problem with my team is that I have Hawkeye second, which means that if I TAC, I’d get Spidey back in again. Spidey’s not really one of the good chars for TAC combos aside from his infinite which I can do at only about 3/100 of the time.
As per flashiness and if you do have Doom, Nova, IM or any flight char as second, then it’s really something cool to do.
I just do simple combos similar to that because his web throw and hypers really take too much time out of XF. In reality though, I’d have him get KO’ed first than either of the chars in my team.
Well if trickery isn’t everything… Spidey can now convert super jump air throws into damage. As soon as he is done with the animation, air dash whiff a normal then cancel into zip. I’ll have a video up later.

Yeah someone commented on my latest video saying I was helping you out so I appreciate the look. I really do want to play Iron Man but I just can’t get past his movement :sad: but hey if you can make Spidey/Iron Man/Doom work then more power to you man. I liked that Jill stuff you had going on as well.
What combo are you using? Other than solo combos, it’s not really optimal to do sting-web throw combos, especially if you have both IM(Rep) and Doom(HM) in your team. That’s unless you meant kara sting-web throw.
On another note, IM can also do whiff supers to UWT DHC like Hawkeye and Doom.

Yeah it’s actually a pretty decent combo. To make it easier on you though you can get a bit more damage plus all that you were doing before.

You can also do the combo posted above without using Iron Man. Just do the same combo ending with the sj:h: xx :h: web swing sj:m: sj:m: sj:s: then as soon as you land in the corner, just call Doom missiles. The missiles will OTG your opponent so you just have to be ready for :l: web throw as soon as the missiles hit, then you can continue by doing :l: web throw again to the corner then either web throw MS or CA as posted. If your opponent is a bit shorter like Frank or Joe, just forward jump as soon as you land while calling Doom assist then as soon as you land, do the :l: web throw… It’s pretty easy, does a lot of damage and less chance of dropping since you won’t be using zip OTG late in the combo. It’s actually what I do for online combos since lag doesn’t affect it that much. You can also add repulsor after the throw to corner for more web throws.
I think you should use unibeam assist since you already have missiles for combo extensions. It’s easier to confirm off compared to triple arrows (which is quite easy for me to confirm), works as a pseudo lockdown, keeps opponent grounded/standing, travels full screen, hits multiple characters and doesn’t add much HSD. It’s a beefier but slower version of triple arrows and in my opinion, is the best neutral assist for Spidey.
My sub Spidey team is the same as yours but with a different order because I really like butter gun + unibeam since it lets you confirm from full screen. Both IM and Doom have TAC infinites. Only problem is that though Doom isn’t one of the stronger anchors, IM’s not really that better but with 3 bars, XF and repulsor it’s still possible to make a comeback.
