I’m not sure where you are coming from with these last few posts, are you arguing against yourself?
At the end of the day we are all web-heads, so why all the animosity? You play yours your way, others play their own, it’s the greatest thing about the forum, it opens your mind and shows you different options to implement into your own game.

Yipes (pre-summer jam) may be one of the prime examples where being really good, even being considered one of the best can’t net you results.
As for air-to-ground combos or random catches, it’s really not that hard, it’s just that most Spidey users have a habit of using c:l: after dashes.

What’s the best combo after an air grab? I already have one which uses Hawkeye and Doom but I’d like to know which ones are your go-to combos after a grab.
Would it be zip j:h: OTG…
…jump series?
…ground series to web throw…?
…other that I don’t know?
I believe ground series to web throw is. You just get more damaging shit in I think… I never bothered to actually check out the damage on both.
Air throw to dash under setup into web throw into OTG into kara sting into web throw into Doom shenanigans into Dorm shenanigans into raw tag chaotic flame setups.

for the most part i just do a meh combo into UWT . if in the corner you can do the thing mamespider does w/ doom since tagging doom builds more meter apparently

does anyone have visual cues for corner missile crossup after launch series
If you’re having problems with crossing up, it’s more of a zip whiff issue than of timing (timing is important but not that strict, I can even do the cross ups online with a bit of lag). Personally, I don’t have any visual cues as I just had a feel for it when I discovered the tech. It doesn’t matter what sj magic series I do, I just jump as soon as Spidey lands (or dash then jump if a bit off the corner) then do the zip whiff. I even got a bit consistent at hitting the j:s: for the ‘whiff’ but it messes up the missiles at times because it adds too much HSD at that point in the combo (long bnbs). If you’re looking for visuals though, the best thing I can suggest is probably to be at about at least air-dash jump height when the missiles OTG.

I’ve seen someone do that as well. It may work for you but since my last sj magic series attacks don’t usually end with the same number of inputs, my air dash timing will have to be adjusted accordingly. That’s quite troublesome for me. Also, you’ll have to do your zip j:s: whiff a bit faster because the zip projectile hits the wall quickly since Spidey’s next to it (and above the opponent) unlike when you drop to the ground first. I think I’ve even been able to do a standing web zip whiff cross up.

Double and triple web swing combos work well enough for me as I can end those in crawler assault.

Hey guys I just made a combo that I think (and hope because I was trying it for a while) is somewhat new, aside from the usage of Iron Fist. The problem is that it has so much hitstun that I can’t start with a web zip because they will flip out of the combo. Anyway, here it is.

j.:s: land cr.:h: + call hidden missiles at the same time-> sj.

sj.:h: sj.:s: land, jump web zip -> whiff j.:s: to get in corner, :h: web throw -> kara sting xx :l: web throw -> :h: web throw -> airdash + call Iron Fist wall bounce assist -> :l: web throw -> air Maximum Spider.
I think it does some where around 930k-950k. Since the hitstun is so high and it might make the combo unreliable, I will try to see if I can adjust the beginning so I can do that combo off of a random web throw.
