Overlapping as in hitting around the same time as your zip connects. I suggest triple arrows for the easiest way to go but I would call assist when you jump for the zip then cancel immediately to MS

Afaik, he was running Spidey Dante Vergil or something along those lines… I bet Rapid Slashes would grant an easy double web throw, and any of Dante’s assists should grant easy combo extension. I doubt he believes that using UWT in the middle of a “combo” is legitimate.
His Thor killing combo starts with a CA, which is why I said that the damage would be around the same range of what you can expect from a raw UWT to zip combo.

Maximum Spider does not DHC well to Million Dollars and Vergil’s Maximum Spider does just okay damage (like wesker’s). If I had to guess he’s DHCing to Devil Trigger and doing Dante extentions.
Possible. Dante can reset the ground bounce and has enough time to get some hits in while the opponent is floating after MS to Trigger DHC. R.Nguyen is a combo machine with Dante so I’m pretty sure this combo has some that crazy stuff in it.

Cool video. But 5 bars (guessing he built 1 before tagging in Dante, so that makes 4) for ~1m damage doesn’t see worth it lol
He explicitely says he needs 2 assists, so I think he’ll stick more web throws in with either assist…can you hard tag someone after his assist hit?
And he’d get even more damage doing kara sting.
Uhmm… yeahhh… that looked like you need to start with more than one bar… I could see it doing 1.1 M with 3 bars and building about 1.5-2 bars in the process. Idk, I’d have to see something more in order to really see him do 1.25M with -1 net gain.
Can’t Spidey/Dorm already do 1.1m with 2 bars? Mass Change, H xx Dark void ball thingy. If you’re willing to have the meter loss hard taggin spidey would break the 1.3m I think.
The iNerd bnb build 1.5 meters, I assume if you stick Dorm’s and Doom’s assists in between, plus kara sting, you could maybe land 5-6 Web Throws and build 2 bars.
Also, is it possible to combo a web throw after hard tagging spidey from a stalking flare?

gave me some ideas though wonder how far u can actually push the dante combo from the hard tag.
plus that whole thing is about how ‘swag’ u can be to win but quite iinterested in the whole hard tag after that bit mechanic once i get spidey combos down ill have ot play with this looks quite fun.
i know im asking for help again but when u guys mention swing zip tech, does this work in the corner because i have tried backdahes swing zipping and raw swing zipping, i cant seems to get it to connect is there a trick to this i missing?
Swing zip works best in corner but if you are doing it after an air combo it depends on how you comboed them in the air. For example if you in the corner and you do launch jump straight up in magic series it will work but if you jumped up forwards to do the same combo the opponent lands differently despite being in the corner.

hey are there any vids of the crossunder sting tech with missiles that you posted about a bit ago? does stage position matter? i need to see it in action and see the differences needed for how close to the corner you are
I just have the one video up now called fun with kara stings but I’m literally in the corner doing that stuff. You can still get good damage but if you need a visual reference I’ll upload some quick combos using different situations

No problem but I know you’re wary about cross unders and what not so do you want me to show you the corner kara setup after a regular combo or just finishers ending close to the corner without kara stings?
Yeah, Spidey and Dorm can break 1.3M if you start with ~1.5 bars, seeing as that about ~.2 of the last bar is built after the Stalking Flare with Dorm.
I’d have to test out exactly how much damage Dorm’s and Doom’s assists would add, but that probably would break the 1M barrier if you do the Dash Under Web Throw Combo with Kara Stings.
And I think the only way to be able to land a Web Throw afterwards is by popping X-Factor after releasing the big ol’ cheese ball so that you can tag Spidey in sooner. Otherwise, you can’t hit that angle with Web Throw, and you don’t have enough time to get under them for a :h: Web Throw.
thanks for this Z been driving me crazy why this wasnt working. bad habit i have after laucher to jump forward and with a bit of practice i can drop the otg assist on my team now because i was using it for that exact problem.
Yeah if you jump forward the rule is to dash back then jump zip if you jump straight up then just swing zip. Also Phantasy your vid is up in the video thread.

I need some more help, guys
1.) Do you guys recommend Hawkeye (Quickshot: Greyhound) over Amaterasu (Cold Star) on my team of Spidey & She-Hulk (Torpedo)? Either way, what Spidey assist do you think would work best with this team? It seems all of his assist are mediocre so I’m just trying to find the one that would benefit Hawkeye/Amaterasu & She-Hulk the most.
2.) What is a swing zip? Are you guys referring to Web Glide or his air dash or something completely different?
3.) Can anyone provide me with some tips for Web Glide otg? Especially in the corner I’m having trouble, should I dash back like Hawkeye does in the corner? Any tips on how to better my Web Glide otg would be much appreciated!
4.) Does anyone have any combos into or from Crawler Assualt? Also what is the ideal combo for after air throws? (He can’t combo off of ground throws, correct?)
