Doctor Doom Combo Thread V2

Although now that I think of it, what is the purpose of said combo? I mean doom can corner carry from anywhere on the screen can he not? So it doesn’t really seem necessary to dedicate a combo to switching sides when the regular Bnb would put em in the corner anyway.

It does more damage unless you are going for the real midscreen combos. If you’re going for the shadyk/clockwork loop, side switch is definitely better.

I believe Rokmode is referring to Sehmehnov’s combo if you’re wondering.

Even easier would be sj.:m:(1):f::h: addf j.:m:(1) j.:m:(1):f::h: addf -side swapped here- cr.:m::h::s:… should cause less damage scaling as well, everyone should use the one in Duck Strong’s video though.

The combo in his video is the one I originally posted a few pages back.

Dayuuuuuuuum, dooms got some damage on him, and here I thought I was running optimal shit. Shame summers almost over(and my controllers gone to shit) I don’t think I have enough time to learn those combos before school starts.

I optimized the corner infinite. 2 reps does about 1 million damage. Pretty hard to do though.

Question, couldn’t you have done

Ha, that might actually do more damage. Thanks for the idea kanta! I will be sad if they remove infinites simply because it’s so fun to play around with in training mode. I could also go up into a full tac into laser jm jm plasma beam. I think I just wanted to make it easier on myself by not putting in plasma beam links since the plasma beam link is a little tighter than the laser or at least visually harder.

Could we update the OP or someone put up a new list of relevant BnBs? My Doom is finally coming along and I want to start optimizing my combos and with so many finds it’s hard to tell what new combos I should be learning.

Found a pretty consistent 840k combo that can start with multiple c.:l:'s

c.:l::l::h::s:, sjc.:l: (fast), :f:+:h:xADDF (ADD in corner), land, c.:m::h: (c.:l::m::h: can also be used if timing is too hard) :s:, sjc. :m:(2), :f:+:h:xADDF, :m:(2), land, j.:m:(2):m:(2), :f:+:h:, :s: xADDF, s.:h:(2):s:, sjc.:m:(2):m:(2), :f:+:h:, :s: xADDF/ADD (whiff normal), s.:h:(2), :f::d::df:+:l:, :qcb:+:atk::atk: (can also use any other standard ender)

I like this combo because it takes a lot of the strict timing parts out, carries full screen, 800k at least (884k on j.:f:+:h: xADDF, c.:m::h: starter), and is just very consistent and easy to adjust on the fly.

Looks pretty good if you can confirm that combo will land. The hard part is the sjc.L (fast). When I was determined to learn the Mazi midscreen loops I found out that at some distances and hit confirms (ones you need to use) the first sj.L f.HDive to hit wrong and drop the combo.

Also some things posted previous do more damage off the 884k starter but are difficult so you may have that niche.

I recorded this just today that I’m going to use. It hit confirms off far c.L c.H confirms into 800k damage from anywhere.
The trick in this one is to do a raw j.L f.H after a bukloop for that extra bit of damage. Rest looks like most Doom combos. This will score 870k damage off the F.H addf c.M.c.H S confirm. It can go to about 830k but breaks 800k after all the usual hit confirms i tried (j.M , or c.L c.H, or DuckStrong’s j.M f.H S(whiff) S)

A variation you can use that might be easier(consistent) is to skip the second bukloop and just use two double dive loops after. You can end that combo with s.H MoleculoMan L xxx sphere flame if you like. Doesn’t always break 800k though.

Gonna have to learn one of those Bnb’s, with plasma storm dhc in the back Im looking at 1 mill + damage. Enough to kill pretty much every top tier in the game if I have a bar at the start of the combo. But since I do’nt see any dooms going for that combo, even clockwork and marlinpie I gotta ask if its practical? It looks practical, and other than the j.:l: :f: :h: addf part its pretty similar to the combo I current do but you never know.

Just check Duck Strongs video, you’ll find something that will suit you and ToDs with Sentinel. The above combo does the same damage as the Shady K combo, might as well do that instead since it’s easier or even the Sehmehnov one since it’s pretty similar. They work with double cr.:l:s

JuuM can you point me to video or notation of what ShadyK is using? Want to compare damage.
