Just a heads up, apparently there is going to be a patch out sometime this month for both the consoles and Arcades adding phase 4 (And Female Tengu???) to roaster. I dunno if they are adding Female Tengu to the Arcades and Phase 4 to the consoles specifically, but that would be great if we got them both at the same time…
No it’s Phase 4 to consoles, F.Tengu to arcade. No word on if the patches will also be a balance patch.

For the most part, the Nyo-Tengu is utilizing a modified variation of DOA2/DOA4 Tengu’s (Bankotsubo’s) move set. Seems to have a lot of useful throws and decent damage output.

- New flying stance and mixup (possible from 8ppp, h+k, etc)
- Can do strings, throw, and Tengu’s jumping P+K while flying
- Air throw can now be used as ender after juggle
- 6P+K is now a sit down stun
- Now has ground throws
- Now has taunt while lying face down
- Tengu’s gust of wind returns from DOA2
- Tengu’s 2T and 4T return; 2T still goes over ledges
- Tengu’s H+K strings and P+K return
- Possible sidestep throw
- Possible full screen power blow (Tengu’s 4P+K from DOA4)

Hello. We have some news on Phase 4.
Below you will see some examples of Phase 4’s game play.

Obviously, Phase 4 has similarities to the little ninja princess known as Kasumi. Phase 4 seems… to be a tad more “teleport” dependent. She might not be particularly safe on quite a few of her options but one can guess that she benefits well off of mix ups and damage output. At the very beginning of the match, you will see a pretty decent combo from the Phase 4 player’s perspective. She has a Critical Burst within her teleportation movement. Phase 4 also even has quite a few strings that are the same as Kasumi’s (with a few variances in animation or even frame data).
Still an interesting character to consider.
Can’t wait to try her out, there can never be too much Kasumi.
