Also, the exact translation was that the new character could be seen in the “arcade version’s” ending. And we don’t know if the arcade version has the exact same ending as the home version, especially since the arcade version does not have story mode.

got a homie loves 3d fighters soul calibur n tekken and i make him play 2d and older shit . so tonight should be Doa time…he loved the first doa5 ,he wanted to hate it…But in the end It got him…Now he praises it with tekken and soulcalibur … Look forward to the new chars for sure, wish they would have thrown this in the evo line up .
Here is the new character. She is a Kasumi clone and is currently called Phase 4 (idk if that will be her official name though). Don’t worry, she’ll play different from Kasumi.

People have done this for other games but it is almost always wrong, how many new characters will be annouunced doesn’t depend upon a certain screen and how much space is left on it.

All this proves is that Kasumi is the worse of the ninjas because she stays free no matter what. DOATEC can’t even get a sample of the Super Ninja’s blood.
Phase 4… Apparently, we had not been getting enough of Kasumi, therefore… welcome to Phase 4 XD.
On the other hand - after seeing that video related to Marie Rose, I’m quite curious about the character now. We’ll see what happens next…
As much as it would have been nice to get a totally new character, we’ve got to realize that at this point, it’s risky for Team NINJA to invest another half million for new art assets at this stage in the game. By reusing an existing model, they can instead focus on creating a moveset and animating it as that’s the cheaper part of the deal.
