Yeahhhhh. Shoutouts to DJWheat and his terrible MvC3 play! I played him in a random online match, and he got totally bodied by me. I felt bad though, I respect him too much.
Spooky is the most unprofessional person in the streaming business and has no right streaming EVO2K11. His comments about the levelup crew just prove that he has no control over his damn mouth when he has a mic. It’s honestly funny how this community should be stressing the importance of collaboration on both EC and WC, and yet Spooky wants to just bring up the faults of other organizations in front of 17k viewers in order to push his own agenda of streaming EVO this year. Spooky already gets to stream nearly every other major tournament, why does he need to stream EVO too? Damn, so selfish, just let levelup do it.

Selfish? The only reason he’s even saying anything is because people keep asking him “yo, spooky, why aren’t you streaming Evo” or they’re saying that he should be he one streaming Evo. He wouldn’t be pushing for this if it weren’t for the masses asking for it.

Spooky is preferred, so of course the unbiased tourney directors ask him to do the stream; a lot of the time, at Spooky’s cost.

Spooky also streams those events because Level Up hardly leaves Cali. Man up and stream something on the EC, down south, or up in Canada if you want to stream the main event.
Level Up is on blast. Anyone who prefers them just has the OC bias, real talk.
At the end of the day, Spooky gets the job done. The competition pales in comparison.

Bottom line: being a professional does not mean wearing a suit and tie and talking in a monotone, unoffensive manner. In the entertainment industry, being professional means bringing the hype and pulling in the viewers. You have to know who is watching your broadcast and tailor your broadcast TO THEM. Not to some false general perception of what a “professional” is. Spooky just pulled in 18k viewers and proves he brings the hype. He did that by giving the audience what they wanted.
There’s no need to compromise the character of this community to pull in viewers, Final Round proves that.
Let Spooky and LevelUp both stream SF/Marvel. Spooky will get 8-1 viewers, and his stream will look nicer, run smoother, AND have better commentating.

Saying Spooky doesn’t deserve to stream Evo because he isn’t professional enough is such an insult it isn’t funny. What is funny though, is someone that says “******” on a stream is calling Spooky unprofessional. Oh the irony.
Spooky has dedicated so much to streaming. He’s been the MVP of the community for a while now and we’ll see if Evo wants to acknowledge that or keep playing favorites.
It’s sad that it’s come to this, but if this is what it takes…

To be totally fair, down time during evo2k10 was of course unintentional, accidents do happen, internet does die at random times, levelup just got unlucky. They did man up, posted public apology, asking the mass for suggestions/improvements for future streams.
Do they deserve a second chance? Well their WNFs quality have been pretty good, they select twitter messages and post them on the stream, pretty neat.
levelup may deserve a second chance, but Spooky deserves his first. The man has been flying around the world, bleeding out of his wallet and soul to provide us with the best stream in the community. Of course, its not about how much sacrifice one gives…
He is streaming most of the evo season events, why should he be jipped out of the main dish? I’ll be frustrated too.
Spooky calling out levelup during Final Round was…well you cant sugar coat it…unnecessary. Even if he didnt call levelup out ,the community would still have supported team spooky for evo. It is probably in the heat of the moment, feeling frustrated that his request to evo organizers are not working.

Spooky should be streaming Evo
This happened back when they were streaming in shgl’s garage. He was quoting something that was said from a conversation between him and Watson IIRC. I’m on Sp00ky’s side with him streaming Evo, but we shouldn’t bring up stuff from before level|up was officially formed.
Keep it classy, guys.
I’m still waiting to see this “broadcast professionalism” that Levelup keeps talking about. 
Thank you sir for posting the fucking facts. Level up got butt hurt over this and their attacks on Spooky are 100% worse, and straight up lies (re making it sound like spooky was streaming porn).
Also Team Spooky is unprofessional? ROFL This coming from the LevelUp the same people that just last week had a guy on stream commentating saying some of most offensive shit I have heard taking shots at a player because he was an Arab and than taking shots at Jews. Where was the professionalism than? Why did no one kick the guy from commentating ASAP? Levelup have no fucking right to throw the unprofessional word around.

Sp00ky is the obvious choice and if Level|Up gets to stream EVO, it will be as a result of politics. Most things in this world are.
The man does an incredible job and most importantly, he is extremely passionate about it. He’s spending his hard earned money, forfeiting his tournament matches and sacrificing sleep just to please people.
Sp00ky isn’t being paid and he’s not doing it for some surreptitious reason; the man just loves the community and is trying to help out.
He’s not trying to belittle Level|Up, he’s just trying to make sure the decision making process is fair.
Give the man a chance.
