any time someone wake up ultras and misses. my cody stands still, scratches his head, and says… heyy…
then i dont take the free punish because easy is boring. id rather lose. half the time, literally, i let them hit me once after the wiffed wake up ultra.
i dont expect amyone to understand.
other that taunting failed out of combo ultras.
taunting is pretty lame.

I taunt if the other player taunts first and I turn the game around on them.
I would only taunt if I know the player and the match is funny.
Edit: Or before you win you taunt…then in the next match I do everything I can to style on you…that’s when I taunt

usually, i countered a few attacks, and start hit n run.
then i start taunting like there’s no tomorrow.
Elf player here, I try to give every opponent a “Viva” before starting proper. I don’t care if I have to run away to do it or even get hit. Everyone deserves a viva!

practice like mad? tell me, how’s your RSF?
My RSF sucks so bad. I can usually get two punches into slide. *When *I can get it. I’m playing on a pad (Specifically 3DS) and just can’t get my thumb to gallop at the right time/rhythm consistently. When I hook my thumb under and fingers over the top, it’s a lot easier… just makes doing everything else pretty hard!
Currently Golden Week here in Japan so I hope to hit the arcades and get some stick practice in. Mostly I want to practice RSF but given that it’s holiday season and the local gesen will be packed, might just be a case of survival against the locals until I can get a stick and the game setup at home. Too much work, not enough money or time…

a lot of times i’ll just be like working on my blocking and then most people start taunting since i’m not doing a whole lot of attacking, so eventually it ends up with us just taunting for 20 seconds until i can goad them to attack me again.
I taunt and everyone should taunt to players like this

btw…do you use fraps? which version?
I play as Vega, and use Taunt 2 where he makes a quick “Come here” gesture. He moves quick and IIRC you can pull it after knocking an opponent down and Vega will finish before wake up, or at least be able to dash away.
I like doing it because most people already hate Vega so this is the icing on the cake that just makes them lose their mind and do something silly… like get hit again.

Gouken has a 3fr reversal safe taunt bait after (combo into) cr.hk in the corner. Really funny when it works from time to time…
After they worked so hard to get in on my sagat I throw them across the screen again and do taunt 5 (where he puts his chest out and laughs) before spamming some more tiger shots
