Last two season passes I brought ( battlefield 3 and last of us) have been well worth it it terms of content and what I got out of it.
But its a gamble, theres plenty of season passes that fail to live up to what you are paying. You are giving them money without even know whats coming out. That sir is retarded.
They tell you what comes with the pass. I knew I was getting 5 map packs with 4 maps each and new game modes with battlefield. The last of us said DLC and at least 2 map packs… And capcom is telling people here. There is no mystery, you get 6 characters and alt costumes… Who doesn’t know what they are getting?
Theres plenty of publishers that establish season passes without posting all that comes with it. Just label it future DLC and people still fall for it.
Im talking about season passes as a whole, not just on SFV.
You AREN’T getting any costumes. All you get with the Season Pass is the character pack for 2016 which we know about. Anything else like any possible additional stages, costumes, voice packs, w/e will cost you real money
Season passes are just like pre-orders, or anything else. You look at the information available, you make a judgement call. That simple.
You can’t be certain about the outcome, but there are many decisions in life about which certainty is impossible. With a big publisher and a good dev, the risks are fairly low, especially if you are mostly satisfied with what you already know you’ll get.
wrong, preordering the season pass gets you alternate costumes for the DLC characters… Its has been literally in every print release since the season pass pre order was announced, where you been?

here is the details of the season pass. you can clearly see what is offered. No mystery, if you don’t want to pay, fine don’t. Just don’t sit here and pretend like Capcom is trying to pull the wool over your eyes with what they are offering.
I dont think Capcom is trying to screw anyone over with this season pass. I just feel the practice of it whether some publishers do it right or not is bad for the consumer in the end.
The only character I care about in the DLC is Ibuki, and I’m not dropping $30 for one character and a skin. I’ll grind it.

Why don’t you read the damn link instead of burping out bullshit. It clearly states all six characters with their alt costumes. That’s kind of the perk you get for buying the season pass, you essentially get everything at a discount of your were to buy it seperately.

I liked 4 enough to buy multiple copies of multiple versions of it. Street fighter is my favorite fighting game series and I will happily toss money capcoms way to keep it profitable so it doesnt die on me again.
I’ll earn them in game. By the time they’re available we should have enough fight money to get them immediately.
Whatever then, don’t act surprised when Capcom releases new costumes and you’ll have to purchase them separately from the Season Pass
I have the one character I wanted in the base roster already, so I’m not really interested in anyone else, except for maybe Balrog.
Nobody said they wouldn’t. All I said is the season pass comes with 6 alt costumes as well as the DLC, of course there will be more costumes why wouldn’t there be. I know I will be spending a shit load of money on this game, I got three different versions of Ultra (PS3,PS4 and steam) and copped Arcade edition as well as vanilla… and I can’t stand SF4.
