I get angry often but I don’t get violent. I just do this then move on to the next match.
He’s a babby
I know what ya mean man, I was gonna play you in SFIV today but I forgot I left some DiGiorno in the oven then my gurl said she gonna give me sum brain… sigh so much to do  sorry brah
I refuse to share diapers with anyone. RAAAUWRUUGHHH!!!
Oh and btw, welcome to SRK. You’ve registered to recently for people here to respect you.
Hope you enjoy your stay.
Yeah I get frustrated too bro. But then I run my fingers through my beautiful hair and I’m fine.
I also have a bad habit of rubbing my nose after winning, I catch my opponents doing it too after a while. It’s kinda fucked up, mang.
^ ^ ^
Is it though? I mean, can you really blame them for wanting to rub your nose?
What do you want people to say
There’s no long A or B bombsite in street fighter so…
Yeah there is no cooperate mode in SF. All the other person wants to do is make sure the character you use falls face first on the ground every round. You may wanna talk and have a good time…everyone else is just trying to step their game up or simply just wanna beat the crap out of you whether they are better than you or not. The only fighting games online that are really social are ones that have multi player lobbies where people take turns playing and sharing strategies and talking trash right then and there. If it’s just one on one…usually people just wanna focus on making you cry as quickly as possible.
I can see where everyone is coming from. Yes, this guy does seem arrogant, but he’s just trying to state how he feels. He took the initiative to come get help, and that’s a lot better than most people do. If we want the scene to grow, we can’t just keep insulting every new player and have them running away without ever giving the game a chance because a few people were being jerks.
So let’s stop getting so upset when someone asks an obvious question, and let’s please drop the “fucking '09ers” attitude.
Go ahead and send me a friend request, and I’ll see what it takes for you to get better. I don’t have my mic with me up at school right now, and the connection might suck since I’m at school, but we’ll see. If you really want to improve, I think I can help you.
Mainly, I think you should work on the anger. When you lose, make sure you remember why you lost. If you do, there is nothing to get angry about. If you don’t, there was no point in playing that match.
There are times when I get steamed, but not to the point of punching holes in the wall/breaking doors/softening my losses with reminders to myself that I have the “best” life/grades/girlfriend, like you.
I can see it now…
Go back to Halo bruh.
if you are gonna be punching walls for street fighter, then you take the game seriously.
quit the clan, dump the slut and stop doing your homework. That time needs to be dedicated to playing the game :nunchuck:
This is the kind of stuff that turns people away from the scene.
The kid came to get help. He obviously wants to improve. We were all new here once. Why not help him out?
people got irritated because the guy comes in talking about how awesome he is…how he isnt a gaming nerd and bangs a chick yada yada yada
yea we were all noobs. I’m still a noob
But when i first came here, i didnt go on talking about my life. I just came in…read posts…contributed…asked questions…and stepped my game up
Yeah, but he later apologized and explained that he wasn’t intentionally being arrogant. He came off that way, he didn’t mean to be that way, now let’s help him step his game up.
yea i know, i’m just explaining why people quickly negged the guy
Honestly, if you want to get better, practice. Perfect practice makes perfect, as they say. Doing all the combo challenges isn’t enough, go out and play opponents, be it online or in your local tournament. Execution is only one part of the equation, another being experience. I should also point out that getting angry at the game isn’t all the beneficial towards your growth as a player either. When you get emotional, you make mistakes. Of course, being enthusiastic isn’t bad, because it brings hype and makes the fight all the more intense.
If you look at this from a FPS game standpoint, everything I just said rings true as well. Stay level-headed, practice, and play different opponents as much as you can and eventually, you’ll get better.
I’d love to see the OP play IaMP by the way.
I don’t really get upset at losing - I try and adapt to beat my opponent the next time around.
What does get me mad is people walking or just straight up fucking STANDING in front of the TV while I’m trying to play!
