Keep in mind that if you remove the shaft cover and end up preferring it that way, you’re going to have to buy some new dust covers to fit your naked shaft.
I don’t see the real issue with it though. I play on my friend’s TE which has a shaft cover and on my own stick without one and I perform just as fine on both because my grip is mainly on the ball, not the shaft, so it doesn’t spin much while I’m playing.
People are superstitious and seriously think having one color or another and owning a certain type of stick (the same as “this guy who won the last tournament”) will make them a better player!
Sure, a more sensitive joystick DOES help a little bit, but that’s less than 10% of the equation!
It’s a bit like those pro sports players that insist on wearing dirty or worn jock supports all the time because that’s the “clothing” they were wearing when they won the big game! LOL
I had a question about the size of the ball top. I have large hands but I was wondering when would be the point of getting a larger ball top? Umm how big are my hands? Well …They make the TE look small…
I think most people who have tried a larger ball top will tell you that the increased weight of a larger ball top is not helpful for fighting games. Stick with your current sized one.
Aight… I was also wondering about maybe a longer shaft? With the size of my hand my its hard to play on the left side 25-50% of the time? I mean if I could cut off my pinkie and ring figure I would be set but I was trying to avoid that lol.
