it’s all about comfort. if you have GIGANTIC MANLY AMERICAN BURLY HANDS OF PAUL FUCKING BUNYON, and find the standard ball fine. stick with it. Maybe try a 45mm ball. You might like it, you might not. If you have dainty little chun-li hands you might enjoy the giant ball for some reason.
Practice really makes perfect here. I am 6’4" and have hands on par with Chun Li. I always try practicing from both sides. And that wineglass grip while crazy accurate hurts my hand if I do it too long. I use three finger rodeo for most things and for dashes I just flatten my hand and bat at the stick (seems to be faster that way)
I use this thing (modded SE), and my hands are pretty close to yours
I just switched to octogate and bat top. I’m playing 50% better already in the last hour. (TE stick)
