3rd Strike is godlike but for some reason I hate SF2 does anyone else feel like this?
Nobody has played SF2 for well over 15 years now. Why would anyone even want to? It was never very well-liked when it first came out, and now it’s OLD too!
Super Turbo is still played in arcades in Japan and is at this years evo.
I dont care for it, because the sprites are ugly as shit, and it feels dated and janky.
but thats just my opinion.
I don’t hate it (SF2) but whenever I want to here the old Voice Overs I do a few rounds then don’t play it again for like 10 years.
this game is really fun… just understand that with this game you cannot make a mistake if not then 70% of your health is gone… this game makes your work on spacing, mind games, and reaction times… its a really tough game

It’s kinda lame how pure ST still isn’t on Live, man, I would whore that shit.
I don’t play any version of SF2 regularly. Sometimes our little group plays Hyper Fighting on the 360. I enjoy those sessions. My major gripe is the throw system in SF2. SF2 is a fun game sometimes.
ST has a tech throw.
ST doesn’t have Aegis Reflectors.

Aegis is AWESOME. I enjoy SF2. I don’t take it seriously whatsoever but I do like to dick around. It also helps me on my ability to do inputs because there’s nno leniency at all. I actually like that more. Kinda tired of cancelling normals and the games says: :qcf::qcf: = :dp:… May just be this square-gate that I am subject to right now though -__-…
I used to like ce and hf when i was a kid(They’re ok for a few mins now. I think st is extremely overrated, even though i’d give it some credit, but thats another story) but now I prefer playing 3s which allows me to play my opponent mind to mind and for out reasoning rather than just memorizing - a computer can do that. That’s a 1player game.

ST is a blast! For several months at Denjin we had a ST phase where a lot of the 3s heads were playing it as much as 3s (even Pyrolee!)

I fucking hate ST and will never understand why people still accept it except only out of nostalgia or they can’t play anything else.
Nothing in ST makes any fucking sense. Sometimes you can combo and sometimes you can’t. Sometimes a combo results in an instant dizzy and sometimes it doesn’t. The controls are ass. It has the weirdest one button throw system I have ever seen and the range is roughly kara-throw range for one button grabs… Oh and if fuckface jumps in and ties to tick command grab you the only way to get out is to do a special move, that or take a grab. WTF is that? Seriously?
Total opposite of 3S except for Chun Li nonsense.
