Do all versions of Street Fighter 2 use Happ Parts?

When SF2 was first in American arcades you were likely to find a number of different joysticks in the cabs.

The most common one was probably the “Super” Joystick. Both Wico and Happ made these, and there are a number of other knock offs.

I also saw a lot of Wico 8-way leaf joysticks in conversion cabinets.

Great for Robotron, terrible for SF.

SF2 cabs in the wild are likely to have something like these in them. In a good arcade they’ll have an IL competition joystick.

An excellent and versatile joystick.
