Jamie Foxx is a person that has truly succeeded as a celebrity.
He’s a successful singer, actor, and comedian(though he isn’t the greatest at any of those, he acknowledges this). He’s had his own show, he was a member of In Living Color which was one of the funniest and most popular sketch comedy shows ever, he’s appeared in multiple award winning movies, and he’s had a few successful singles. I don’t even think he’s had a scandal or any real problems yet, unless you count that Miley Cyrus thing, which really wasn’t that big.

Django Unchained had one of the best endings to a movie I’ve seen. Simple and effective.
The main villain of the movie is actually Stephen, not Candi.
He was able to have control of Candi’s actions and control of the plantation.You have to remember too he has been working their for his whole entire life. Stephen is an Uncle Tom, a race traitor.
Best character in the movie is Dr. Schultz hands down. I couldn’t see anyone play the role of Django besides Jamie Foxx. I’m glad Will Smith didn’t get the role as it wouldn’t work for an actor like him to be honest.
Fucking amazing. Though, I did feel the length about an hour in but the payoff is fucking worth it.
I think a lot of people I know that had a problem with it, went in with the thought that it was a movie about slaves. That is what would make the movie not enjoyable. The movie was a great revenge flick, and I think Candi and Schultz were easily the best characters in the movie. I tell my friends who haven’t seen it that it is like an exploitation film. But QT most definitely did his homework when it came to certain things in the movie (mandingo fighting, house negroes, etc). but regardless the movie was very entertaining. I loved the KKK scene as well.
I honestly don’t think Will Smith could’ve pulled off Django as well. He’s too wholesome of a guy to be spouting out the N-word constantly. Plus that western setting would’ve reminded people of Wild Wild West all over again.
nah. the part where he smashes his hand on the table and bleeds is real but they use a different cut when he smears the fake blood on kerry’s face.
