Because Money can’t fake actual interest and effort
This game is way too good. I cant stop playing. I stop playing all other games and only play this in this week.
What are you guys team comp and builds?
Because I want to do a custom character and play Sebile origin story I start a local coop game and this allow me to customize Sebile to my liking from the beginning plus a custom char.
My custom char is a fighter/necromancer tanking build and Sebile is a scoundrel/polymorph backstabing bitch with crit stats as high as possible.
I them pick up Lohse as a support enchanter and Efan as DPS/support ranger.
At the moment doing good with this at classical mode.
I got stuck on character creation and restarting this game so many times deciding what I want to run lol
Going trough act 2 and the the game has some “haha wtf” battles. The game oozes with fun and originality.
Telekenesis mid fights/or to initiate fights is kinda broken at Fort Joy lmao.
My hardest hitting ability is like 20 or so at that point. While swinging a giant portrait off the wall back and forth on a dude hits for 75 physical for only 1 ap per swing. Looks silly as shit.
I start playing coop with my wife with both using lone wolf. Damm is that thing OP. We pick classical and we are cruising trough it at ease. I think with lone wolf is better to go tactical mode as it really is OP.
If you don’t play this game on tactical you haven’t lived yet.
I didn’t have much time to play lately but Act 2 has a lot of “wait what??” “wtf” and “lul” moments and battles.
Big 4.3gb patch. Lot of bug fixes and some gameplay improvements. I shook my head when I read through some reviews saying the game wasn’t buggy… god damn shills.
Game still goat though
I had some issues with bugs before the previous patch where quests were not tracking, but haven’t seen much since.
The game is savage on quests doe. You can miss quests so easy just because you don’t have the right character, didn’t answer the right question, didn’t pick up the right item. Got too used to games that hold your hand.
Some fun things i found out while messing around.
Often times during a encounter with a npc that wants to fight you, your other 3 members can still walk around, get into position, get a early shot in mid dialogue to force the fight and what not. You won’t lose AP, though of course it’ll be on CD. Good idea at times to get yourself setup before the fight. Setup your summoner incarnate with all buffs, get totems out, casters can manipulate the field the way you want as long as you don’t damage the other enemies that aren’t in conversation.
This one i’ll test out more but it seems like both characters engaged in conversation are immune to damage but not to buffs and debuffs. Could teleport the enemy/ally in conversation as much as you want, won’t trigger a fight. Furthermore the duration on said buffs and debuffs won’t count down, it’ll stay static. So you can do stuff like prebuff, predebuff, throw a restoration on the undead enemy in conversation etc…
Also the enemy in conversation is treated as your “ally”, aoe buffs like encourage will affect them. Can get creative with this interaction, like enrage a enemy caster so that they’re muted.
edit some other bits of info. Thievery is pretty godlike too atm. If you’re surrounded by too much people you can use your other party members to talk to them and face them away trader included preferably if they like to walk around, as soon as you steal anything, send it to your ship storage immediately before exiting dialogue with the trader. It’ll clear the stolen tag as well.
I just got the game. Looking forward to getting into it, but I’m overwhelmed by all the PC RPG nonsense on the HUD. I haven’t played a game like this in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.
Yeah Thievery is really godlike
For me this is the best way to go about it.
The thing with pickpocket is you can do it only once to a NPC with a character, so if you want to pickpocket several times an NPC you have to put thievery on your other characters as well. 2 points is enough if you do it like the video using the backpack trade method as you only need to steel the backpack and is easier to keep it bellow 4 kilos putting all your gold on it and some valuable stuff.
I dunno if you guys got to that fight in Act 2 with lots of ennemies where the whole fucking map is covered in cursed fire… That is fine.
So how many people in this world can break the necklace? Someone in my party got his snapped off by the traumatized girl in act 2, but we couldn’t get her to do it again.
Where was this? Because I believe I had to deal with this but we were able to get through it with ranged weapons.
How is this game without a party of friends, btw? I gave it about 30 minutes in a solo campaign and was bored out of my mind. Playing with friends, though, made this game amazing. May be more me. When I was in college I played these type of games with friends for hours on end. Way more annoying to equip characters on one screen than on a PC I’ll say that much.
That fight was before you enter those mines. Lots of oozes.
Ummmm you are supposed to break ur necklace in act 1, lol. There’s a girl who removes all of them in one shot, right after you save Gareth.
I’ve been having problems with Leya - Gareth is in the camp, but when I talk to her, I never get any option to break the collars.
Malady breaks your collars after defeating Alexandar and the Voidworm at the end of Act 1.
lulz.
Well we’ve been doing roundabout shit pretty much just tanking through missions for experience. None of us even know what’s going on besides people don’t like magic so they threw a ton of us on an island.
Finished act 3 and did most sidequests i could all the way up til then. Did a bunch of respecs. My battlemage went from physical melee with spells at act 1, to full all rounder mage in act 2, battlemage again with fire staves and 16 points into pyro at the end of act 3.
My archer has almost 80% crit with warfare and ranged nearly maxed out and 6 points into huntsman. Plenty finesse and a shit load of wits and initiative. Sometimes she gets two turns in a row.
A support/summoner Fane with hydro/geo, aero utility, all the useful buffs and heals + time warp, 14 points into summoning for flex damage.
and a tank converted into a dual wielder/twohander.
Pretty flexible team so far.
