The only problem is finding a name though… maybe something like “Dive” or “Kick”, but thats not quite it…

Your horizon line / vanishing point is way, way too high in that picture. Check existing 2D fighting game backgrounds to see where the vanishing point usually is.

somebody should make a custom controller that is two buttons inside of squishy balls. one for dive. one for kick. which you hold one in each hand. or for added authenticity, place them on the ground and DIVEKICK THE SHIT OUT OF THEM!!!

like the way Ken’s Tatsumaki does multi-hits unlike Ryu’s single hit Tatsumaki ever since Vanilla SF2?
i want it to do something like 25 hits that will still equal 1 billion points damage.
but it has to be programmed right since i don’t want Dive getting juggled out by some fluke hitbox and escaping the 1 billion damage mark. that happens in multi-hit divekicks yunno. getting juggled out of a completed divekick due to some hitbox+angle issues. yeah, i don’t want that to ever happen.

That, is the question.
Only a scrub in the professional divekicking world would need to hit you multiple times to knock you out. Even the lowest level divekickers, who only deal about 20,000 damage in a hit, would laugh at the idea of needing multiple hits to win a divekicking match.

i think the game may need it for single player mode.

final boss does nothing but dragon punch. has 1 trillion in health, and 1 billion and one in DP damage.
final boss should be unlockable., but banned from tourney play…of course.
This is the one true fighting game. As such, there is no single player mode.
Well he’d need a hurtbox first for that to happen.
Will the game allow you to play against an AI and if so is it intelligent in how it uses its footsies, spacing and at using mindgames against it’s opponents?
