To put in comparison, Chun Li’s throw is 1.01, air throw is 1.1. Guile’s air throws are 1.07. Makoto’s EX Karakusa is 0.98 range. Average character’s throw range is 0.9 respectively. Zangief’s new LP SPD is 1.75 range.

Dive kick is -3? is that at the top of the opponent’s head? Cause if not then it’s free DP for shotos, something fishy going on over there.

Imo something like dive kicks can’t be put on paper as to how much it is on block or hit, because it all depends on where you hit the opponent, that’s like putting frame data for j. hp, it all depends when you hit them.

It can be said how much block/hit stun it does though that’s a different story.

I know it can’t be put on paper, but that’s just what’s listed. For what it’s worth, it comes out faster than Rufus’ dive kick so I feel that just makes it automatically better in some angles where it lands/hits/gets blocked.

you make some mistakes when you write unthrowable or throw invincible. I don’t speack japanese but those kanji means “legs invincible”.

The kanji for throw invincible is use for the ex command grab

What colors does Yun get in SSFIV AE? I’ve seen his default blue/yellow, yellow and the red/black. What are the others?

magenta, white/red, sky blue and raiders colors

In one word yes.

So Yun without his hat… looks word just for mention.

Out of Yun’s ultras, are any of them can be used as anti-projectiles?

His second Ultra is really useful only for that, outside of a Punish after Focus or something similar. More damaging than Yoo-hou.
Though, aside from Sagat, he can bypass projectiles rather easily(divekick, shoulders).

Lol, lk upkicks is -5 on block, and is invincible on startup. Both palm and hk upkicks build 30 meter on whiff and 90(!) meter on hit. So 8 whiffs and some change builds one bar. That is crazy.

Also there seems to be a typo in the AE mook. Ex palm says it builds meter.

LK upkicks also whiffs crouching characters, and its HELLA punishable on whiff. HK upkicks hits crouchers, but is difficult to punish on block/whiff. You can definitely punish it though, it’s just going to require some reactions. Compare it to punishing Cammy’s dp, just a bit faster. Also, his upkicks aren’t that good IMO, they get stuffed all the time and don’t really stack up to reversals like Shotos or Messiah.

The fact that Yun can alter his jump trajectory in 3 different ways really make a difference when playing against a character that DEPENDS on AA’s to win. Also, if you have Sim in the corner, you can just abuse mp-hp target combo for free, + mix that up with dive kicks and walk up throw = GGPO.

Yun’s lunge punch easily punishes Sim’s back dash.
While also allowing you continue your mixup.

AE is coming out very soon, and you guys are probably going to main (2nd) Yun, so how are you guys planning on dealing with people degrading your skill calling you a “tier whore” and “you have no skill, you are just mashing”.

I was planning on maining/use him as a secondary since he was announced, so I am sticking to him. But what about you guys?
