you never know men i just got some ideas but since you can cancel the over head move into the infinite let me try and ill show you if i discover some setups

More notes on my combo:

1.) not a bad idea to omit the b+H. A lot of instances where it will miss unless you are right next to them. The dmg comes out to 469,600

2.)After feral L, you can cancel into Raven Spike for 517,000 dmg (532,100 if you include b+H)

2.) Could not get it to work on Ammy/Hulk/Sent/MODOK (due to their hitboxes preventing arrow kick from crossing-up),Arthur/V-Joe/Spider-Man/Wolverine/X-23/Hsien-Ko/Zero (could not get j.M to hit), Dark Phoenix (arrow kick flies right over them)

3.) Tron and Morrigan are peculiar cases. Some times with Tron the kick wont cross-up and with Morrigan the kick will sometiems completely wiff.

4.)Combo is easier to do on male characters + She-Hulk

Feral Canceling the arrow kick for that cross up on a crouching opponents is a really dirty trick I’ve been pulling. I haven’t gotten down her more complex combos, but I’m getting better.

You guys are aware of Feral Canceling into standing combos? or her instant cart wheels Cancels? or her Kara/trap throws?

anyways, here’s a vid i made with some BNB’s that i’ve never seen anyone so far use. Checked everywhere in SRK and apparently i play WAY differently from everyone else with Jill valentine. So here’s my start off contribution…it’s only day one for me with Jill, so soon enough am introducing a lot of other stuff.

I shall post the transcript when i get back from work today. the technique is fairly easy as well as endless possibilities. What i did in the vid are just simple BNB’s using her Feral stance cancel technique into Standing attacks and loops…etc. i tried to completely stray away from the combo’s every body did already.

Alright here’s the Trasncript:

First off, lets start with the Feral Cancel Technique. Or that i what i call it, cause apparently people has this for another term use.
The moves that put Jill into Feral stance are:
-qcf+L
-Qcf+M
Those i believe are her two Main attacks when used in combos. the reason is that u can cancel the feral stance and completely go neutral form, allowing u to do anything u would like from Jump loop to standing attack to seriously anything.

How to do it? after doin any of the Cart wheel, input :d::d:+:s: , and then quickly hit :s: again to null Jill into nuetral. What will happen is, you will cancel the actual cart wheel to re preform the stance Again, and by pressing :s: in a feral stance, it will put u in a normal standing position.
This technique can also be used (if done quickly) to completely stop the excution of the move. For example, do a cart wheel and then quickly :d::d:+:s: , :s: will result in completely cancel the cart wheel from coming out( :l: or :m: version)

also can be used as a wave dash or for Kara throw purpose ( :f::d::df:+:h: ).Dont forget :d::d:+:s: after the cart wheel is just to allow u to maneuver and input a follow up move faster, and ofcourse u can simple just go feral stance into wutever u want.

the combos are intended to be made Easy as well as no assists stuff…etc. just the basic as much as possible.

Feral style combo is nice trag. With her high low game coming of strong, an overhead combo can seriously bust some balls.

Teef - Her f+h puts her in feral stance as well. That’s how I did one of the combos in my video with stance cancels

Two little things I wanted to add to this thread. Sorry if they’ve already been mentioned.

You can delay canceling cr.b into what ever normal you want next quite a bit. The application of this would be turning situations where you would whiff back+h or potentially be out of range for aircombo stuff after the beginning string. I haven’t tested it on 100% of the cast, but it seems like delaying canceling into st.b off of cr.b makes cr.a cr.b st.b st.c back+c a much more universal midscreen starter.

The other thing I was wondering about is something i saw in one of luigi bo’s vids dealing with feral cancels. If there is enough time to do 236a 22s b/c(I don’t know which move luigi bo was canceling to get those short hops forward) 22s feral a, that might make that combo a little more reliable midscreen/open up other opportunities. Not sure if there is enough time for that in between hits, but I’m very interested in that hop.

Skip st.:m: and add cr. :h: after st. :h: to make it universal.

I was feral canceling the opening animation of her flying kick (M) when in crouch stance.

This is one I figured out while doing the missions. Chris’s land mine assist makes a great partner for jill. As her :dp::l: delays the land mine from going off until after you have recovered.

This is the one I have been doing and its pretty easy as well. Haven’t tested it on all characters though. As I figured it out in mission mode against dorm.

You can throw in a qcf+l before the super and gt way more damage off this combo

Nice meterless combos Brian! Shows she can do damage without having to use meter.
