Every character plays at the same fucking range with prepackaged combos while using damn near the same pokes. All the characters have shit throw range with and I quote “baby t-rex arms” because casuals hate throws and want to see combo videos…but fuck the casuals right…YOU ARE THE CASUALS!!!

casuals are all potential hardcore players down the road so without them there wouldn’t be growth for a game. Everyone starts as a casual/scrub.
i do think capcom dropped the ball for this launch though, they might have loose some potential players in the process. Here’s hoping the march update and tournament hype will bring them back.

Not to mention the blind matchmaking… you can’t have a runback anymore, you can’t avoid ragequitters, lagswitchers or people who are too far away and the connection will suck… you can’t even filter people from your own damn country, so I’m in Brazil, wich is a big ass country, and I’m being matched with people from Chile or Argentina and the connection sucks, even though I’ve filtered to only 4-5…

I’m brazillian too. I set the connection to only 5 and most of my matches are versus people from my country. Sometimes I get matched with someone from Argentina, but the connection isn’t bad.

Rule of thumb, if you are in the US avoid all Brazilian players. Sorry guys your country internet infrastructure sucks. You guys are too busy banging all those hot female brazilian women in the ass instead of doing things to help progress the country. lol
I think if that is just the case, maybe they have their priorities right. If I lived in Brazil, I too would be too busy banging hot Brazilian women to care about things such as street fighter.
On the topic of daily challenges, I wonder how much it might affect beginner/intermediate/online-only level ‘meta’ on a small scale?
I don’t know the details of what they might be, but if there’s things like “Do 10 Anti Airs”, you might be able to get away with low checking more people because they’ll be watching the skies.
It’s so small, it probably won’t matter, but maybe if there’s a “Use your V-Skill” challenge, just watch for Parries, Step Kicks etc. Might be cool, or super super annoying.

Most big cities here have pretty good internet access, I live in a shitty city in the Sao Paulo metropolitan area and I have 100Mbps/50Mpbs connection.
And you guys are seriously misinformed if you think that the average brazilian women are substantially more beautiful or hotter than american, canadian, french or dutch women, just to give a few examples of the countries I have been to. To be honest, those countries have more hot women than here, IMO.
