I think what makes it easier to hit with the c.lk added is the fact that you got more time to charge.
I mostly do this too since the charging time with the plain s.fp is too short for me…
Fo sho. Unfortunately the damage difference is insane…it’s like 140 vs 300 or something.
still better than s.hp xx do nothing and look like a tool
and if you miss the c.lk link it’s still safe on block …
very nice and I’m sure it could be worth practicing these combos. I was wondering,
After you finish your combo with scissors and then FADC into dash forward, at that moment who has the frame advantage and will your opponent have an easy way to stuff attempts to link into another combo string? More generally I’m just wondering about mix up options for Bison at that particular moment in time and our opponent’s counters to them, and the framedata for the moment just after Bison dashes forward out of the cancel
I am no where near good enough to test this but I was wondering, if Bison has full super would doing something like- mk xx hx scissor FADC- 4x c. lks xx mk scissor FADC- c.lk, c.lp, s.lp, c.mk xx hk scissor give Bison another 2 bars so he could go one more time? That would be hilariously annoying for the opponent.
very interesting, lol.
Does anyone have a list of counterhit combos? So far the only one I know is meaty CH c.F, c.F, HK. Double Knee.
errr, nevermind
found all my answers xD
considering anything before the first FADC won’t add to bison’s meter, no it won’t even be close to giving you another 2. It probably won’t even give 1 bar.
cmp -> cmk -> heavy sk -> fadc -> clp -> slp -> slk -> cmk -> heavy sk -> fadc -> clp -> slp -> clp -> cmk -> heavy pc
my favourite stylish combo
Any tips on landing the c.lp after the FADC sk? I’ve only managed to get it out 10% of the time.
Yeah I suck at that too, I’m sure it’s just timing it so immediately after you FADC sk you hit the first hit of your combo, your first attack after FADC sk should be directly after the first two taps of the dash forward. I’m assuming that’s it, just timing. If anyone can give a pointer on that I’d be much appreciated. all I can manage is a FADC into throw.
i DONT KNOW if you guys know but purposely do not connect my scissor combos after fadc keep that thought in mind (reset) there is a timing where it does not connect but they still have to guess grab or crouching short. that fadc combo is bullshit i figured that out a long time ago so i was like fuck that im a gonna wait a sec and make them guess. dash then crouch short slow it down a lil.
change
fadc -> clp -> slp -> clp -> cmk -> heavy pc
to
fadc -> clp -> clp -> slp -> cmk -> heavy pc
The link is easier after s.lp.
And besides… might be a fancy combo … but i would not do this in a real match… wasteof meter for very low damage output because of scaling …
I would leave out the second combo and go right into his BnB at the end.
Go for PC if you want the extra stun … but i would go for Nee Prezz most of the time because the positioning after the knockdown is somewhat better.
my execution is 95% on pad with 5 bars or in arcade i wouldnt replace the 2nd slp with clp because i am all about the flashy good-looking moves and i think clp -> slp -> clp -> cmk -> heavy pc looks like a more flashy combo than the one you listed. since you are in a crouching state when you get to the 3rd poke of that poke string followed by cmk and psycho crusher, like a cannon shooting through your opponent. ive just got a weird imagination. ;])
as stated above i go for the looks in my combos since i am 95% confident in my links, and i think 2 sk poke strings followed by a poke string ending with bison’s signature move is an elite feeling.
so you just wait a bit before you begin your second combo, is that what you mean? so scissors then FADC then wait a sec then start the next combo?
yeah i just wait a split second it makes people think your gonna grab em.
it a second you wouldn’t notice either. my friends here in NY think i missing the link lol but i am actually trying to resest them.
If bison lands a lvl 2 FA do St:fp-> F:Pc (450 stun)!!!
After that i like to follow up with J:Fp->St:fp-> Fp:Pc (560 stun i think)
or J:mk cross up cr:lp-> st:lp-> cr:mk-> hk:sk Fadc cr:lp-> st:lp-> cr:mk-> Fp:Pc (does about 530-575 stun depending on which bnb u start off with)
And for all of u “safety first” players just ex the Pc’s so u pass thru them to get out of harms way if they block.
playing as bison was pretty fun guys… sf4 was ok though… but as of right now i quit sf4… kofxii is coming out on the 28th and i sold my copy of sf4… so ya good luck to all the bison players…
