Dictator Combo Thread: He rules with an Iron Fist...of Energy!

Go into training mode right next to the opponent, and press cr. lk, and then again hella slow, and gradually faster until it combos, and memorize the timing, it has a rhythm to it. If you press it fast by mashing it won’t work, you go “press, press”. Also you have to press the second kick as you see Bison is finished with the first one.

Nobody can really help you with your reaction time, you just need to play a bunch more, but all you are doing is pressing forward+lk after seeing your first lk hit, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Excuse me for being a noob, and this might be a stupid question but: I noticed that you can cancel a psycho crusher into a Super (using pretty much the same timing as the SK -> Super timing). However, some of the super does whiff.

It seems like this is a pretty useless (which is why I didn’t ask this when I first was messing around and could be why I haven’t seen much mention of it in these forums) since you waste four bars for partial damage. However, the question I was wondering concerning this is: Since it does less scaling (less hits), is the damage reduced significantly enough to not matter? Also, is using a PC to combo into a Super more likely to lead to an opening, as the opponent expects to punish the PC?

I wish I could test these things out myself, but I currently do not have access to my Xbox. Also, I know that people on these boards are far more creative than me and could possibly find a use for this. Thanks guys and I’ll edit/delete this if it’s a stupid post.

umm that’s an absolute waste of meter… i never do scissors xx super in the first place so this is out of the question… maybe PC > FADC mix-up is ok at times…

I have trouble getting the bnbs to connect often, too. The lk.scissors won’t come out at the end of a c.lk. It comes out fine from c.mk, though. But c.mk is harder to link out of c.lp.

Out of combos, simple c. normal > specials connect all the time. I normally resort to this to do damage and get the knock down.

I’ve rarely used Bison’s super in the game. Maybe if I’m having fun and happen to not have used any EX moves in the match. But yeah, you can do PC > Super. You don’t get all the hits since PC launches the opponent in the air.

Mastaroth, why don’t you do scissors>super? It’s the only way to get max damage off of crossup right?

well i’ll do it ONLY if i know that it WILL kill the opponent… otherwise i rather save my meter… i feel that meter is too important for bison… i will waste half meter for ex stomp > ex diver… or for pc > fadc… but wasting a full meter and leaving my opponent alive is too risky specially if i’m against sagat, balrog, ryu or gief if bison’s super did 500 damage like gief then i would do it all the time… lol…

Yeah I only use super to finish off my opponent, never just for damage.

Chance are if I have a full super meter as bison, the opponent isn’t putting up much of a fight anyway and I still need my damn super title!

I wish there were more posts like this. I particularly like the ex.px>fadc. Haven’t been using that and I will definitely try it out. Keep the pressure going.

I’ve been able to hit ex.stomp>ex.diver pretty easily now. I never thought I’d get much use out of it but I was surprised that opportunities for it come up quite often.

good shit, thanks man.

Its embarrassing to say I can’t do his bnb combo consistently with a 16.5k Bison. lol

I still can’t do cr. lk x3 consistantly.
I turned on input display and for his BnB I hit every button twice, which I guess isn’t mashing, it’s more like double tapping.

Any tips on FA LV3 dashing into ultra? I’ve always done FA 3 into ultra with no dash, but I can’t seem to get the dash into the equation.

You can hold the charge for a bit longer to make sure you have the charge stored; his ultra is pretty lenient on the crumples (It’ll still hit them when it looks like they’re on the ground.)

I have no issue on the charge. What I’m trying to do is Focus, hit, dash forward, and then initiate ultra. The input is something like hold back, forward, back, forward foward i believe. I’m just trying to add it into my game because in a few instances the ultra misses the first scissor kick hit, but if I can avoid that altogether, even if it happens like 1/100, there’s no point in not eliminating the possibility.

u r not doing it right… it should be done as…

FA 2_3 > input dash as early as possible > charge d/b > wait for the dash animation to finish and let bison go into crouch animation > f,b,f+kkk…

the key is to input dash just as u let go of FA… not after u see it hit the opponent… the rest is easy…

Problem solved. Gracias, maestro. :china:

I just played Zangief vs. Zangief in Easiest 7 round Versus. Just Lariat until you have a full meter and then finish with a Super on each round. Each one should last you about a minute and you can knock out 4 in a row before having to reset. Yea its a pain to do this for nearly an hour but I never find myself having Super meter online with Bison and I wanted to get the title out of the way. :looney:

if you’re going into a naked ultra from FA crumple, I dont’ think the dash is even necessary. Just charge during the regular recovery and you’ll still have enough time to tag them with ultra as they crumple.

Bison fan

Yea guys and gals, hes the best in the game!!! He’s the freakin man… You gotta start with knee press followed by tha purple smack down(forget name but charged if possible) lk,lk, sweep kick,(while slideing charge up for psycho crusher or knee press, lk,lp, then head press!!! Yes my first post fellow Bisonists!!!

i don’t really get what u r talking about…

on another note i was fooling around in practice mode & just did bison’s version of anti-air super combo…

j.mp 1 hit > hp psycho xx hk knee press nightmare = 324 dmg…

i lol’ed so hard afterwards… pretty good damage though… it would be really cool if bison’s super connected for full 5 hits on mid-air opponents… then combos like these would actually become useful…
