Diablo 3?!

I liked it a lot just found the beta way to short like many of us did.

This is me 100% of the time.

i love what ive seen so far, got me a lvl12 demonhunter on the beta. only thing i have a complaint about so far is the fact that skilling your character feels somewhat linear. i miss the skill trees from d2.

I’m loving all the D1 and D2 references… That will be missed by WoW players that never played the first 2 Diablo games.

I have to admit, one thing that I find pretty good is that it feels that so far, each level gives you something new that can effect how you play. Every other level you get a skill or a rune, which makes a significant effect. Even though the only thing you are customize what skills you bring to an encounter, I do think this style does bring a sense of versatility without making you have to spend time to build a character a certain way. It’s different and I do feel it is planned well so far from how it looks.

I guess people could view the new system like guild wars 1 ( I don’t know how 2 will play out) where you can learn a crapload of skills, but you only could bring 8 into a battle and that dictated your build and your playstyle along with gear to help make you have more of what you want. There was a lot of crazy builds in that game, and I hope this new system still lets something inventive come out from the higher levels for some rather unorthodox builds.

Apparently, they brought back The Butcher…

Mmmmm Fresh meat

So, is this shizz back up?

Beat the Beta with my Monk, he was pretty damn fun on my DH now.

just beat it with monk, my god does the monk deal some insane damage…

well finally got it downloaded and working but now I can’t play due to timing out and cap on how many can play at at time.

Just finished it again, this time with my DH. Seems like end game DH would be one of the best. But then again I’m just playing a fraction of the first act.

So after playing this for a bit… It’s so reminiscent of D2. Idk why people are hating on this game so much. This game is dope.

After playing through Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter, I’ve decided I’m going to pick up this game. Looking forward to playing with some SRK’ers soon.

i tried playing this but its so laggy i can’t do anything. i’m not into computers at all so i have no clue if my laptop is even good enough to run this. my desktop is about 100 years old so i wouldn’t even bother with it on it. here is what i can tell you about my laptop and if u can let me know if you think it should be able to handle d3. Macbook Pro, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, Intel Duo Core 2.53 GHz, running on windows 7 ultimate. if you need anymore info let me know. i might have to jump off a bridge if i can’t play this.

Would it be better if i just downloaded it for the mac side?

I don’t see this game working on a laptop, especially if it hasn’t been made within the last year or is designed for gaming.

yea demon hunters are insane, those shurikens can just clear a whole room and they cost so cheap. i think demon hunter will be the class i go with when the game comes out. i had the most fun playing that over the wizard and monk. and the utility is so good on demon hunter with the traps and stuns etc.

I haven’t tried DH. Perhaps I will make one tonight then. Barb is hilarious, but hard to judge considering it’s the first few levels of easy mode, and everything dies in one hit from a barb

Man, the venerable old X1950 Pro. Still running current games 6 years later! Man, my X1650 Pro is no slouch either, and the XT version was even better. I still use as a backup card in my second PC. Too bad I can’t play D3 on it and have another game up on my main PC.

For you people on a budget, I highly recommend the Radeon 5670 GDDR5. If you can find one. Probably sub-$50 aftermarket, $65 - $70 retail, again if you can find it, but there’s no cheaper gaming performance right now. Don’t worry about how much memory is onboard, the fact is the memory bus is sooo much faster than the 6670, which is a few dollars more and more recent.

Overclocked, that card has got me through SWTOR and is now getting me through Tera problem free. So I’m sure Diablo 3 will be fine.

I have a Radeon 6850 Sapphire Toxic. I went with that, and the price has dropped lately. You can get one now for $100-$150, and it supports crossfire, so you can always grab another one when the price drops even lower and crossfire it with the other card, to have a hella powerful total graphics package. I dont forsee myself needing a new card for a hell of a long time either.
