Diablo 3?!

It may not be a Vengeance Sorc (which I must admit I would try if I had all the gear available without having to work for it), but a gander at the Wizard’s ability list makes me think a melee Wiz of some sort will be possible and viable.

The action house where you can buy item with real money really kill all the hype for this game. It’s really the magic the gathering effect. The Skill to buil a solids characters isn’t base on you but on real money to buy virtual stuff
Another division’s dirty business :frowning: poor blizzard .it’s sad , this game look beyond good despite this

BREAKING NEWS: farming rare items and hoping you win a lottery is skillful. Also, only people with money will get gear, which is why there’s no AH based on in-game currency.

lol, farming is skill lol.
Im not a fan of Real Money AH either, but saying farming is skill is just lol.

That sorc is doing about 40K damage too little for an enchantress.

If D3’s economy is anywhere near D2’s was at its peak in patch 1.09, then you can easilly make 5-50$+ of real money off a single item. I had a friend who would sell a ton of his D2 gear over Ebay for loads of money until Blizzard banned the sale of their in game items off of Ebay. I plan on making a shitload of money off of D3 if things work out the way I hope they do. GDLK!

No botting though.
But we can arrange a high dmg MF group lol
RUNS OVER AND OVER AND OVER

We will have to compete with the chinese though. I am sure they will overrun the market with cheap rare shit.

Saw Daniel Tosh live last night. He insists the Chinese are going to take over. I for one welcome my new cheap rare providing overlords.

THAT CUNT. :annoy:

Sorry but that sorc is terrible. My zeal sorc would have raped that in 1 hit.

Any Rpg has a form of grinding… You want good stuff, you work for it … this look common sense.

You’re a fucking idiot.

did you ever play a rpg before ?? you don’t hit a lv and get all the gears that come with ??? seriously , wtf ???

I’ve been playing RPGs since before you were born. What I said stands.

awnsome , did you insult everyone that don’t share the same opinion as you ?
The whole point of my first comment in this thread about real money ah is simple -> ***Will spending more give you an advantage over other people? ***

http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/2397-Diablo-3-Auction-House-Announced-Spend-and-Earn-Real-Life-Money!?#

^^ if you want more info

Almost every game with an economy either utlilizes time or money.

Spend one or the other!

Nope.

I will insult someone, however, when they claim bullshit as fact. E.g., water dowsers, people who think Monster cables are worth the money, someone who says RPGs are all about the grind.

Few rpg doesn’t require a lot grind to finish it. Chrono cross is a good exemple because you lv up by putting boss down . Killing mobs are for mats( to craft weapons) and $. if you have enough gear , you can actually skip a lot of unnecessary battles . Fallout 2 should be a good example since you can finish the game only with the dialogues .

I should not have use ‘‘skill’’ and replace it with ‘‘time invest in the game’’. It’s a better words and less confusion.

D3 is a game that will break record , i will never deny that even if i really dislike the idea of real $ ah . You can make profit of this , but the idea a sucky player can be gear as much as you because he has $$ while you play like crazy to get good gear.

  • if you have played every rpg in the world , you will certainly know some game like mother 1 are impossible to finish without a solid exp farming .
  • the most successful rpg are a mix of good story / game play / music / arts designs .

Diablo games were always about money or time.
It’s up to you which one you want to use.

Diablo games were never about skill unless it was PvP.

Eh Diablo never really was meant for PvP. It just felt tacked on to me for something to do after you beat the game to increase replay value. I just played on Hardcore to make the game challenging. It was never Nethack but the further the games got from the point and click action Angband roguelike that was D1, the less variety in viable strategy there was and the more the difficulty curve got fucked up:

Diablo 1 you could actually get fucked up on the lower difficulty levels especially if you didn’t knwo the strats for beating certain enemies like using bows against the butcher. The campaign was the most replayable and memorable of all in the series

D2 was literally D1x5 (I didn’t like this. It felt like starting the game over again having to grind through weaker monsters periodically. The lack of varying quests made it less replayable too) with some mechanics improved (running, gold not taking inventory space), some dumbed down(classes already differentiated in equipment, skills being learned automatically rendering libraries and bookshelves pointless unless you’re in the beginning of the game), and a fucked up difficulty curve. The first difficulty was basically just equipping stuff with higher numbers as you go, the second was using potions, and Hell was min-max and plan your build or you die. If you died at all before Hell in 2, you did something really fucking dumb

D3 who knows but I don’t have high hopes as they are simplifying everything even further. I expect they will dumb it down even further and now everyone will be able to get through the entire campaign on all difficulties just by playing the game.

if you want in on the d3 beta and haven’t done so recently, be sure to update your beta profile settings

it now tracks your video card’s memory and your internet connection’s speed.
