u need to up your execution son lol. i remember air bitchn that sim got buffed, i think he got nerfed tbh. His new combos are pretty sexy though. maybe new teleport combos. sim vs seth is pretty wacky tacky from my exp. i rather just pick viper vs the white oscar.

right… and the trick is to be holding straight down… so you are guaranteed to slide in their direction. Sometimes the cross up is ambiguous
i play him a lot and its about 5-5… i find myself being aggressive vs her so she can’t get it going. a lot of jump strongs and med slides under air knives
absolutely not. wolfkrone says its very near a true 7-3 for viper.

This is so blatantly obvious that I feel like anyone who suggests otherwise doesn’t play against a good viper who knows the match-up (can take a while to learn it).

i meant the viper scrubs on srk. viper vs sim is bad but i dont think its 7-3. more like little worse then 6-4. 7-3 is gona go to yun and yang.

what technical side. Sim is all matchup experience. He has a few cute gimmicks but thats all lol. Heavy flame on opponents wakeup is real gd vs non ex dp ppl.
not true … he requires a great deal of knowledge just like any other character …
from dealing with corner pressure to the general mechanics of his zoning… how to land max damage… the properties and setup of both his ultras … his frame data and hitbox properties … the extent and pushback of his normals… knowing which button to press and when and knowing what trades with what and when the trade is in your favor … character specific links… ambiguous crossup setups … frame traps … and more dhalsim specific topics like teleports, yoga tower , and drill uses …
if you dont have a solid background on what tools you have … matchup experience means nothing
with time i hope to cover all what i mentioned just like i did with juri … and i welcome the input and feedback of everyone here if you are interested in helping …
