so i hosted the April Annihilation tournament in cleveland last week for Console Combat.net I took third. I lost to wolfkrone twice though they were very close. in the losers final i won the first two matches then he beat me 3-2 
i got through aaron brooks and toiyet (one of the best rufus on the east coast)… great tournament. i will post vids soon
HideAndSeek360 mixed it up a lot. He had a lot of different set-ups.

Really solid Sim…I love that Filipino never used Super preferring to use EX fireballs (that are safer than the normal ones).
It wasn’t on AE… I’m curious how Dhalsim will manage this matchup without j.mp and b.hp xx flame ex punishes.

I won’t lie, I hate dhalsim with all my heart and soul, but this one was pretty entertaining to watch.
I put up two matches vs. Vipers. Although I won, I hate this matchup and I made some mistakes. I’m always appreciate feed back (that’s how we get better).

After a back throw, use forward dash (not slide lk) and then Ultra.
If you use slide lk they can escape free from ultra (just jumping or dash backwards)
Same thing after a super. Slide mk (or dash) and ultra to win the match (at least wait for her reversal, and punish).

Darui owning up fools in AE, even the twins
Darui going for overhead super a lot is the range of that b+lp chop buffed or what, looks like it’s hitting LOT farther now. I can’t even count the times I’ve been on throw range and the overhead still misses

Edit: Does anybody else notice that Darui rarely snipes? He only appears to snipe against Abel in the first video (haven’t watched the entire thing yet, or part 2)

Never seen this Darui character before but I like how he plays. Feels like he’s using everything Sim’s got. He mixes up his block strings and has a pretty good pace.
darui is real good. played him a lot back in tokyo. its just funny how people are finally like (OMG DARUI IS SICK!!) when ive known about him for years now lol.
also that set was from casual play, still impressive though.
I can see how the less “solid” but more agressive and mixup oriented style sims are getting more time in the spotlight in AE:P
