I lost in losers bracket against a very good akuma, but it wasn’t streamed.
I some how got 3rd at winterbrawl this year. a Rufus, darth arma, arturo, 2 cammies and a viper later I made it to winner finals, only to choke and die

but hears a sim vs wolfkrone viper (who eventually 3-0’d me in loser finals LOL) karmas a BITCHHH
Great match Lucky. I won 1st at Memphis Office Battle (32 players) but mostly blundered my way through it. I’m starting to get my shit together, again and having left the game and come back to it I have a new perspective. I’m using drills much more frequently and my general skill at normal use has improved.
hey man… i see you on g4g a lot. i play wolfkrone a lotttttttttttttt as well as jayce the ace. i have some really good anti viper stuff if you want to play one night. also, what other names did you beat in that tournament? curious if you play any other abels (rider? rico suave?)
also, i noticed you elected to short or medium slide against inthul a lot. Just curious why you prefer that over a solid back roundhouse. I find that i sometimes get hit but a short chicken wing if i slide… Just curious man.
If this was your first high placement in a major… you held it together very well man… i know its easy to let those tournament nerves get the best of you.
I recently played a very long series with German Lugar. He is a top Vega player in the US. He is up there with tatsu and noel brown. My production value sux but there are some really good matches. I think 10 in total.

Yeah sim forums have been dead but yey for traffic! Scamp and God how are ya ^^. I played Tinshi (RU), …NikNak(?) (CH), darth arma (AK), art (RO/FE), K Brad (CA), Marlin Pie (CA), WolfKrone(VI), inthul (FE) then Wolf (VI)
I lost to inthul 3-1, game 3 was close but imissed some stuff, I also ALWAYS use u1 in that match and i was told to do 2…bleh
then i lost all mojo and got killedddd my wolf.
PLAYING: Yeah, theres actually a boston Tekken player who plays her pretty well, so I’ve played viper sim more then any matchup in the game, but those guys are crazy good too. I havent been on g4g since they changed it :(.
Bostons scene is nice and healthy
No abels, ryder couldnt make it and rico didnt do well. No Justin (although I was a lil disappointed not to play him) and not a single fucking fireball char.

Nice work! I lost to Marlin in losers finals of my bracket at Seasons Beatings. Then I saw him force Art to switch to Rose. So, really good $hit! Beating good Cammies with Sim is one of the toughest things to do.
u prob know this so sorry if im preaching to the choir. if you option select d/b throw tech and strong, the stong has priority of the tech throw. and strong beats insta air cannon strike. once you do that few times cammys tend to rely more on block strings and throws. Marlin pie is actually the one who told me this after playing his cammy for 30 straight matches… and it works.
@ lucky d… im curious. does insta air fierce drill beat dross up burn/flame kicks on wake up from viper?
ohh and i played justin at bar battles in a first to 5. he is veryyyyyyyy good at getting in using instant/semi instant dive kicks with rufus. in 5 matches i only had the OPPORTUNITY to land an ex flame/ jumping strong/b. rh/ b. mk a few times. Arc jumping with rufus is stupid and there is no reason to ever do it vs sim, he said. u really have to rely on standing strong/rh to beat those instant/semi instant dive kicks.
now im gonna vent for a second. seth killian said the logic for getting rid of cammy’s instant air cannon strike was that “it is just to powerful to give a character a move like that” “it beats techs and almost all normals/specials”.
soooooooooooo why the fuck to they let rufus keep it? he already has the ability to land ultra 1 from 400 hundred situations.
True, but it only works until he figures out you’re doing it. I tried this against him at SB4 and it worked once, then I got frame trapped/OS’d to death.
i actually didnt use that at all, if you can believe that. i just did good blocks, and when i tech a throw id jump drill to get him off me. and the moment theres like a lil space id jump back, and if he jumps at me or tries to srk me id tele to get out and do it all over again. it was a really close match though.
