In any case, she’s even more manipulative than I thought. Vogel not only wants to control Dexter, she literally wants him all to herself. What I really want from her is a clear motive. Why she wants Dexter as her Pokemon in the first place, and why now?
No, Harrison definitely was never mentioned. Hell he wasn’t even present in Episode 2.

Every season so far Dexter sees something in the main villain that helps mould who he is. I’m starting to wonder if this killer is exactly like Dexter. He/she is doing the exact same job as Dexter. They are going down the list of psychopaths Vogel wrote about and killing them off. But instead of collecting slides they bring back the prey to the master (like a cat or dog). So I’m wondering if this person is like a failed experiment whom Vogel tried teaching the code too, or she knows who it is and just wants to see which one of her “sons” is the perfect psychopath.[/details]

I hope that Masutka storyline is going somewhere, seems very interesting but irrelevant at this point in the show.

Well I think they just wanted to give Masuka SOMETHING to do since this is the last season and he really hasn’t gotten that much focus time. I think it’s fair. Not taking up too much time but giving his character at least some shine.
It was pretty obvious Deb was gonna do something dumb when she was saying her goodbye to Quinn, lol. I thought she was gonna off herself in-front of Dexter or something.
First I was thinking Murder. Then Suicide. By the time the Tarrlok Solution came to my mind she already pulled the car right.
This episode has literally destroyed Dex and Deb’s relationship FOREVER. No matter what happens after this, they can never be 100%. It’s like if your mother tried smothering you with a pillow when you were 7. Even if she apologized and said she was just playing around you wouldn’t fully trust her as long as you live.
It seems they’re trying hard to divert Dr.Vogel being the orchestrator of these murders. I still want to see where this leads…
Missuka and Masuka, they made me question my sanity. The halfling is so cute, but that laugh, and her Masukaness… so conflicting.
Imagine giving her the ole HN-HAH and then that laugh comes out…
