i was laughing at that too, but i think she might be in “men are pigs” mode because of Louis and might not want to go out. Dexter and Angel are probably the best people in her life right now

Annoying thing is Laguerta keeps wasting time of her project but she couldn’t care less about it when she was LT.
She’s a higher ranking officer now and all of a sudden an elevated position comes with no responsibilities? She has so much damn free time I’m starting to wonder if she’s just unemployed.
I’m shocked she’s lived this long. She’s so useless they just find random stuff for her to do instead of giving her more impact to the main story.

That’s right LaGuerta…keep getting closer to Dex’s secret. After the shit you pulled on Deb the last couple of seasons, he’s not gonna hesitate.
The lead up to LaGuerta’s demise has got me amped. God shes been a bitch the whole series. Her only virtue I can remember is not being as crazy as her temporary replacement in S1 or 2 who was pretty much straight out of a “when keeping it real goes wrong” sketch. I just wish we could have had 7 seasons of Doakes and 2 of her instead of vice versa.
If they do decide to get her off the show, I don’t think it’ll be done this season. Removing LaGuerta is too huge to just push aside as one of the side stories.
Two things. One, she was the reason Esme went crazy in the first place. She slept with her fiance just to fuck with her mind while she played the supportive friend, then when Esme was gone, kicked him to the curb.
Two, Doakes couldn’t have made 7 seasons. Not with the shit he had on or against Dexter. At some point he was gonna die. The only way he couldn’t is if he suddenly sided with Dexter and helped him out as the BHB which would’ve made absolutely no fucking sense.
The last 20% of this episode was INTENSE.
Isaak is a great villain. I love every scene he’s in. I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE the Hannah love story, though. The writers have to stop making these women Dexter is fucking integral to the story. Rita was great because she was the other life of Dexter, but all these women are trying to be the Robin to Dexter’s Justice League.
