I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t make them ignore her call for help if it’s necessary…not to mention that she had backup before who saw themselves that she was right (they saw the chainsaw on the table and the plastic covered room).

Not sure whether I liked this finale or not. It definitely had the shock factor, as soon as Deb showed up on the scene I knew she’d have to pick between the two, that in and of itself wasn’t the surprising but it was really well played out, Jennifer Carpenter is a great actress.

To be fair there wasn’t much time to explain the plan, Deb was so overwhelmed by everything then LeGuerta comes to which just fucked everything up even more.
Ugh, it’s sad but I expect this now. It’s happened so many times, I don’t even what to think about how Hannah managed to escape two officers that were meant to stand guard over her. I didn’t see any large cardboard boxes lying around.
I don’t know how the writers are going to deal with LeGuerta’s death, so many questions will be raised.
I couldn’t tell if some of those scenes with Doakes were old and which were new. Some parts did look like they’d given Hall a makeover so he’d appear younger.
1/2 expecting Doakes to have a twin brother and pop out at some point and yell “Surprise motherfucker!”. Not much more farfetched than how the episode actually played out.
Dexter is definitely not out of this mess…it was only convenient for the time being, but when people notice Laguerta is missing and then start connecting the dots (like the fact that Dexter had just been accused of being the bay harbor butcher that same day), they’re going to be looking at him. I suspect Batista and Matthews will become suspicious…Masuka and Quinn probably won’t give a shit.
Edit: they will also remember that he was absent at the party for a while. Also the fact that Deb called in asking for the location of Laguerta’s car, I’m sure that will be brought up later.
Crazy finale. Was definitely wondering how it was going to end in the last 5 minutes.
If Dexter killed Laguerta, he would have fully turned to the dark side ignoring the code (he is already dark but you know what i mean) by killing a complete innocent openly which could have lead him down a different path in life in where he can’t control his urges to kill, no matter who it is. Then if Deb saw this? The emotions in her mind would have been a roller-coaster. Would she feel safe with Dexter knowing he killed an innocent person right in front of her. Could she still love him? Would she ever feel safe again? Would she have to kill him or turn him in and go down with him to jail?
But the way things went. Deb ended up on the other side of things. How will things change for her? Will she just have a breakdown and lust for Dexter and go on hunts with him? She did something really crazy and shes already unstable.
I honestly don’t think Hannah will be a problem to be honest. She loves Dexter and sees how much he loves his sister. Hannah knows she has a muddy past and knows she fucked up. I think she just left the plant to say goodbye and show she cares for Dexter and will dissapear. She shouldn’t turn into a crazy woman trying to get Dexter back, that would be really lame imo.
interesting episode. Thank GOD I finally saw LaGuerta get whats coming to her (also, this thread seems to not care about spoilers). I am gonna throw a party for her ass getting the ol’ heavy ho. Now she can be with her beloved Doakes. He can “SURPRISE MOTHER FUCKER” her in Heaven/Hell/wherever non white people go when they die.
What are the odds Dex and Deb pin everything on Hannah, trying to protect her beloved Dexter?
The only way this series can end well is with DDH threesome.

Hannah won’t try to get Dexter back, that much is obvious. But I doubt that they’d go through the whole process of getting her out of jail and free if she wasn’t going to have some sort of impact. Depends how vindictive she’d want to be. But yeah, I’m not expecting another Lila situation (thank god…).
But yeah, Deb’s is probably completely snapped now, and she doesn’t even know that Hannah has escaped. She’d be lucky to not be a blubbering mess by the next day.

The season became unpredictable when it came to Isaak and Hannah. Then it got really predictable in the finale.
But it does set up the last season nicely. Just not sure what else is left that’s worth watching now. Dexter basically has all loose ends covered except Hannah.
Matthews, Batista and the rest of Miami Metro are some other loose ends. They’re not gonna let the death of LaGuerta slide without asking some questions. The fact that LaGuerta accused Dex of being a serial killer, and now she’s all of a sudden dead/missing. Also the fact that Dexter was also absent from the party, all signs point to more trouble for him
Batista retired, Matthews probably doesn’t give a shit, and the remainder of Miami Homicide are inept corrupt retards. Quinn won’t do fuck all. Masuka is too busy dreaming about titties. Everybody else is dead or related to Dex.
I am curious to see how Deb handles all this, that was the only unexpected thing for me. Dex owes her a good fuck after that.
I wonder if Batista really will stay out of this. Laguerta dying the day of his Retirement Party likely will not sit well with him at all. Plus now the department would be down a Sargent. Lord knows Quinn can’t do anything right though. The only thing he’s done is waste our time season after season.
That whole Ukrainian shit was such a terrible aside. Really, Isaak gets whacked by his own people, and Quinn takes out the other dude who was banging NaughtyA, who then proceeds to fuck off and go the Showgirls route. WTF???
