Hannah is the only adversary Dex has left unless the rest of Miami Metro put the pieces together and avenges LaGuerta.
Nah, I don’t think so. It was clear that she still loved Dex. In their conversation they both acknowledged their love for each other, but also acknowledged they couldn’t be together b/c they can’t trust each other. I’m not saying she won’t show up next season, but I don’t think she’ll be the big bad.
This just means Deb is now willing to kill Hannah herself. Hannah is Shredder for now, and she’s got the upper-hand on the Turtles. Master Splinter talked Dexter’s ear off and yet couldn’t dissuade him from putting Hector and LaGuerta under the knife, so to speak. Now that Deb turned from April O’Neill to Casey Jones she’s going to have to get through whatever Krang Hannah pulls out, get past the turtle soup ray, and put an end to Hannah’s Shredder-y ways.

Except if they had waited until next season, it would’ve been a dead giveaway she was gonna get out.

But that’s better than her even being able to poison Deb in the first place. Hannah is like a walking, sexy plot hole.

Not that I disagree, but that’s a small point to nitpick - especially since it doesn’t change the fact that she was going to escape. The fact that they made it a little convenient is a minuscule thing to worry about.
Obviously the bigger draw of the episode, was the scene w/ Dex, LaGuerta and Deb.
Not everyone on Dexter can have ass. Besides, I’m more about the eyes anyway. Come at me.
I’m more curious about how they are going to explain LaGuerta’s death or “disappearance”. She’s the Miami Metro Captain, its going to be big deal. And seeing as how she was hot on the trail of Dex, shit will get progressively worse for Dexter in the future

Well the Estrada Bait and Switch will do a decent job…at first. With Angel retired, no one on the force really likes Laguerta enough to look into it that hard. But someone will ask the right questions and open this shit up. Just depends on who. Hell, it could even be Masuka.
I really liked this finale…and I didn’t see the ending coming.
Not sure what the plan is with Hannah, but as for the police force, I’m sure Matthews will become more suspicious and realize maybe Laguerta was right all along…
Ahh, forgot about Matthews just that quick. Matthews might be a problem down the line, but then again, he got what he wanted from Laguerta so he may not give a shit. He’s happily retired and has his money. But who knows?
I also have to say, I think that was some really good acting at the end by Deb, in the container.
Overall pretty good finale.
Didn’t Hannah bring the poisonous plant that killed the writer to Dexter’s apartment? I thought she did that after she escaped.
I’m pretty sure the point of the plant is just to tell Dexter “I’m out of jail and on the loose”…and will also make Dexter realize that Deb’s still not safe.
i’m pretty sure every phone in every jail in the country records all inmate conversations. if not then they should be. wtf are we letting criminals have privacy for?
deb could have just let dexter kill la guerta if it would have made her feel any better. too many plot holes this season.
My issue is, why didn’t Laguerta call for backup? That would have made Dexter’s plan fail miserably.
