I think religion has always been in the show, just never the focus. Really intrigued by the religious fanatics, should be very interesting.

This episode was really really good. Old Dex is back. Im not too worried about the religion aspect. They are doing a pretty good job with it so far.

[details=Spoiler] I liked it. Dexter seems like his old efficient self not seen since seasons 1 and 2. He’s found the bridge between accepting his killing side and his need to embrace some aspects of humanity. One thing I’ve always liked the realistic approach the show has always done with its fight scenes. No long exhaustive punchouts that never really happen, but quick, efficient fights that display as much skill as they do action.

The religious angle is quite interesting and it might give Dexter a renewed sense of purpose other than “The Code”, but of course his eventual relationship with those vigilantes will fail in the end, as always.

My favorite scene was when Dex was listening to Angel ramble about faith and Dexter says: “It’s hard to explain because it doesn’t make sense.”
