Season 1 Laguerta was a stone cold bitch. Like when she had sex with her boss’ husband, to drive her crazy and eventually laguerta gets the job.
Fuck I miss doakes. Dexter really needs his blackness to make things right. JErsey Boy Quinn just does not fit the bill.
Well Bautista and MAtsuka don’t change. Bautista with his “carnad” blah blah blah. I actually liked his jealous side, especially since Laguerta is shady as fuck.
Laguerta blaming Deb for the fuck up was just part of her “pass the blame” “I need to be elected” character.
Rita’s death was so sad, If that was a season finale it would have been cool. However it lead to a breakdown of dexter in a men’s restroom killing a random guy.
He also killed fucking robocop, who was bringing the fire chasing dexter.
Lumen, was basically a nothing relationship. A sort of rebound in terms of murdering and fucking. Season 6 better be about how Dexter deals with a son who’s as disturbed as he is. How his step kids still resent him, and we get more Dexter as a Monster at night, and a loving brother/dad during the day.
Season 4 was absolute gold in terms of Dexter’s growth into an actual human, and not just a killer.
Season 5 had a crappy romance. The good parts where deb let them go and Chase Jordan was a great villian. Lumen was changing Dexter way too much. CHase Jordan, my NIGGA! TAKE IT!
lol I do remember the acting at the beginning of the season 5 being well dodgy

yeah some of the acting was quite out of character.
The Dan the Dentist episode was like some sitcom-y stuff. Liked how funny it was when Dexter was basically saying “WTF” at her planning. MAtsuka’s miming of autoerotic mummification.
“i got 12 inches of cold steel”, reminded me of Dave from six feet under, which i’m almost finished with. Gay dexter ftw,
I was so irritated with Lumen. “I can handle my own shit!” then “I need help!”
I’m a little bummed about No Ordinary Family’s cancellation. It was mildly entertaining. At least people used their powers.
I was on the fence about Lumen. It seemed just when I started to like her character, she would do something that irritated me which would change my mind. I think anytime you give Dexter a “sidekick” type character, it feels forced.
maybe? that’s stretching it though…i don’t remember that at all. Who puts their full name and info in an ad to do baby sitting though?
I think at this point we can guess that Dexter is publically listed.
Anyway, finished season five. There was definitely some closure, which was nice, but I didn’t care for Lumen. Julia styles was fine as an actor. More than adequate. Lumen was fucked up because of what happened to her and Julia Styles did a great job with that, but why she was there… I dunno.
The idea of what they were doing was great. I guess maybe having her in that role shortly after Rita just bugs me.
Robocop was creepy.

even before then him an rita were a married couple thus u know she is all out there in public… an trinity can easily get a hold of the info
when babysitter shows up she said… hi u must be dexter morgan… just further shows dexters info is out there. he tends to use aliases when he is up to his deeds.
im just sayin i can see how trinity got to her.
