Not it is not just you. Deb looked a lot better in this episode. The makeup artists must have done some God Tier work.
Not that she’s ugly or anything(Linebacker shoulders aside), but if she looked like anything like she did this episode, in prior episodes, I could see why she had all of those dudes pussy whipped.
season 1 in third place? I really loved that, its one of my favorite tv show seasons ever.

heh im sure if the police searched the car that crashed in the middle of the road they will find dexters blood(of course unless dexter himself did the bloodwork and clear himself out but he didnt go to the crime scene to do the bloodwork, someone else did)… but yeah, by now it goes without saying how incompetent the police force are in the show.
you know what my friend pointed out that was pretty funny… Dexter gets into a car accident nearly every season.

I still think Rudy “Binny” Cooper is still the most terrifying villain to date, but Doakes was the badassiest nemesis ever!

This season was up and down. The early eps were a bit meh, but then it reached some awesome heights in the middle, but then it kind of just went down to ‘meh’ levels in the finale. The season just feels like thing happened for the sake of them happening. It just didn’t feel coherent to me, and felt a bit directionless. It’s definitely the worst season in the series, but the series set a ridiculously high bar.
Quinn knows that Dexter killed Liddy and is probably the Guy who helped the escaped Barrell Girl. Probably makes him a bit more suspicious of him as “Kyle Butler”. I dont think it would make any sense for him to know that dexter is “the bay harbor butcher” or about any of his other kills. He definitely knows that Dex is capable of killing and has but perhaps not that he is a serial killer.
S.1 > S.4> S.2> S.3>> S.5
Season 1 was flawless as was Season 4 but everything was much newer and perhaps a bit more interesting in season 1. Season 2 was really good but I KINDA didnt like the storyline with the british chick. Season 3 was not as tense as the previous seasons but I liked Miguel and The Skinner as bad guys. I think there were alot of cool “side kills” in season 3 too. Season 5 was honestly some bullshit with excessive love stories and tons of extreme implausibilities.

I hate that you guys started ranking seasons. All you did was remind me of how much better the other 4 were. I honestly don’t mind if we go back to a ‘kill-per-episode’ format with Dexter on his own for 6 episodes in S6. I miss the non-love fueled hunt.
I don’t know man that’s a stretch, Quinn had no idea what exactly Robocop was doing, Dex had no idea about Robocop until he got ambused, Quinn had no idea Dex was even on to them. So my assumption is from his perspective it would seem like Dex has put Debs feelings 1st, its going to be one of those “let us never speak of this again, unless I need a favour”.
Season with Miguel is still my least favourite, but this season has been a bit of a rollercoaster, I’m glad the writers chose to deal with Dexter’s mourning process (thats what the show is all about at the end of the day, Dexter’s intergration into society) instead 1 year later…
Don’t be surprised if Rita isn’t even mentioned during season 6. Seems like damn near a reboot to me.

They seem professional, so it probably won’t affect the show significantly. Still, it is a bit sad.
They just did it so it would be easier to play the break up scene between him and Stiles. 
Also, at the end of last episode Dex ‘n’ Deb have this conversation where Deb says something like: “…now that this is all over…” Watch that scene again, knowing that they’re getting divorced. It’s kinda weird.
Pretty ass season, but I still enjoyed it.
There was so much filler (Santa M. killers, the chick/laguerda and deb situation, and Robo Cop) that kind of brought the whole season down a couple notches.
