That is pretty fucking cool… coasters+Dexter=awesome, if there is one complaint that I have that is stopping me from buying this right now, it would have to be that big ass showtime label on the wooden box… so unnecessary and kind of tacky imo…

DAMN. This next season looks really good. I sense a kind of Doakes hunt starting, but with the big difference being the rest of the detectives might get involved.
Next season better be the finale then. Dexter can’t go on like this forever.

Why? For no other reason than that was the tagline for The Shield’s 5th season. I know there’s no correlation, but I feel something awesome’s going to happen.

Wow, sick trailer. Dexter looks like he went nuts at the end. When he was saying how it doesn’t mean anything to have a victim anymore. It doesn’t control his demon, or something.
This is what i think the show means when they say “conscience is a killer”. Dexter is going to kill because he is very emotional about rita. Maybe it’s saying that he will take out the aggression he feels for himself on his victims. At the end of the trailer you see how he was just bludgeoning someone while yelling.
God this season cannot come soon enough.
Also, unless they were lying - I didnt see any of the new actors they hired for S5…

Doakes was a man who killed for a living, and could instinctively sniff out a killer.
Quinn is a man with a chip on his shoulder due to being spurned by Dex last season.

Doakes was a real threat. Quinn just looks like an annoyance, IMO. Then again, I didn’t look at the previews yet.
I didn’t mean that in terms of “stature.” I only mean in terms of people who could find out Dex is a serial killer.
Which I kind of think will happen. Someone Dex can’t just get rid of will find out he’s a serial killer this season. With all the stuff coming down on Dex, he can’t escape being questioned without an aura of suspicion on him.
I’m guessing that person will be Deb. I could see them making a season out of Deb finding out he’s a serial killer and how Deb & Dexter deal with it.
His mistakes follow him to this season. I see rita in a harry like role now.
I think they said before they won’t do that with Rita, since they’re already doing it with Harry.
However, Rita is signed on for some work in the first ep of the new season. Probably a flashback thing, or a wedding video.
Two seasons of Quinn is all I can stand.
