What a brilliant lead up to what’s going to be one of the best finales in television. The only sad thing other then this season ending is that there will be no more Lithgow in Dexter. 
Yeah I noticed the mirrors thing and that was brilliant.

I also liked the shot of him coming up the elevator. You cant make out much of his face or his eyes because its shrouded in darkness. It almost reminds me of Vader walking into a room haha.
Felt alot slower to prior eps, you know they are saving it for super ultra finish :rock:
I was kinda expecting reporter chick to cap herself, it would have been cool if she did that infront of her father. I was shocked that she was so messed up in the head she still didn’t reveal her father’s identity.
The trap trinity set for Dex was kinda dumb, I was surprised Dex didn’t notice him pursuing since Dex has spotted people in law enforement tailing him in this season and prior seasons, but trinity’s pimped up pedo wagon is invisible.
Man I hate filler, and the marriage scene was just painful, Dex did a great job conveying my awkwardness of having to witness it. nervously standing in the corner of the room looking for an escape route or something to hide behind

I think Christine would have given up Trinity (why are we still calling him that?) if Debra wasn’t so content that she knew who he was. Once Deb said Stan Beaudry Christine was like “oh…” and never went back to drop a name.
They could have caught Trinity a while ago if it wasn’t for Dexter protecting him. When he killed Stan he didn’t really take any pleasure in it, it was just an appetizer for Trinity. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts jerking off when he finally gets Trinity on his table.
I’m getting the nagging feeling that they are going to end on a cliffhanger for the first time ever next week for some reason…
Yeah I remember Laguerta winking at Dexter in season one and he was all like “Um yeah I don’t get flirting… Kill now?”
Maybe in spirit…
I also notice Quinn is being setup to be white Doakes 2.0, only less wiser and badass.
Yeah, I kind of expect cliffhanger too. This whole season has kind of been leading up to the next episode.
With that in mind, I don’t know if they’ll want to wrap EVERYTHING up in the next ep, it would make sense to have a reason to keep people interested in the new season. 'Cause Dexter being a father wasn’t interesting – especially because they didnt do anything with that angle.
So, like I said, Deb is going to find out OR Arthur is going to do SOMETHING before he dies that will change everything.
ALSO, man I really wish they had Arthur inner monologues.
Wait, there’s only 12 episodes in this season? I thought there were 13?
Anyway, awesome ep. Great build-up to the finale (if next week is indeed the finale; I didn’t get a preview clip from the video I watched).

The episode wasn’t as great as everyone hyped it up to be. It was just lots of setup. Plus, the way that Lithgow finally figured out who Dexter was with the carnival trick was pretty low-tier. Maybe Dexter is slipping because he’s juggling so many personas.
However, the last 15 seconds of the episode were amazing. It’s probably one of the top moments in Dexter tv history. . .too much pure awesomeness.
EDIT: Also, how the heck did the kid captured by Trinity not spill the beans? If you’re abducted by some random guy, and get dumped into a pit of cement alive, and you somehow end up back at your parents’ place, why wouldn’t you go public and give a description of the kidnapper? Did I miss something?
There better not be no 2 week hold off(Which there probably will be , just so they can milk every viewer they possibly can, hype building for the finale).
Well, the site says “only 6 days away” right now, so they’re going through with it.
I think whatever Arthur gave the boy to knock him out (the second time) may have affected his memory. I’ve heard GHB does that.
And yeah, I feel that carnival trick only worked on Dexter because of the strain on him right now. But I can’t wait for next week.
Also, the kid’s only like 10. Maybe he doesn’t know how to give a good description.
Lithgow checking out the Trinity case poster board in the Metro PD was insane. Brilliant.
The kid also has no idea what this man has done. He may even feel sorry for him. He doesn’t even know about almost getting buried alive in cement. The kid probably had minor Stockholm syndrome and may even lie. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
God I love that “hello dexter morgan” line. Too fucking good.
I wish I could have that theme that played all while Trinity was looking for Dexter in the station. Sometimes these shows have excellent “stock music” that never gets released to the general public.
