Dexter Season 5: Sept. 6th With a New Trailer!

Maybe Trinity is not a “Trinity” killer after all and theres a fourth kill that hes just always buried and were never found.

that would make no sense at all

trinity definitely knows something is up. he makes him pick a weapon first, dex picks the most mobile one for killing, yet not the most practical and easy one(chainsaw). he even shows he can operate one. dexter…man so many good chances.

I hope so. She is the only character I couldnt stand in that series.

Thats a great theory never thought of it that way! That would be an awesome plot development

Only to return for a christmas special with the Morgans

Nah I knew Dex wouldnt hack up Trinity. You know youre going to see Trinity in the Kill Room.

The wood was meant for the houses, now, after the incident he uses them for a coffin. Seems plausible to me.

Might be, I keep wondering every time Trinity says “Kyyyle” if the actor is trying to nuance or is actually hinting at something.

Granted I’d be fucking pissed if someone picked up something valuable to me, like relatives ashes I wouldn’t be so angry as to choke the shit out of them(Maybe if they dropped or something).

Also I wouldn’t think that Trinity knows his real name isn’t Kyle. Trinity had to cut out the wood for that casket. He could know what the gig is, but Trinity being chirpy at Dexter can also be pointed to Trinity being in a small state of his “Serial Killer” mode, as whatever he’s crafting that casket for, certainly couldn’t be for a good reason.

Harry is the name of the imaginary dad, but he’s not imaginary. Though its true that in some ways he personifies the code

Debrah(Dexter’s adoptive sister) also had Harry as a father so he was actually there in the blood at one time. Its been hinted at, that he’s probably Dexter’s real father. Harry was sleaze and slept around a lot, and he happened to have a sexual relationship with Dexter’s mom.

After that traumatic incident when Dexter’s mother got sawed up in front of Dexter’s eyes he developed sociopathic tendencies. His brother was older than him, so he got taken away by the state because he wasn’t young enough to just erase what happened to his mom, without receiving some kind of help. Dexter still remembers, but obviously he was very young, and he had Harry to help him through it. For his brother there was nobody there to show him “a code” thus he grew up into a serial killer with no morals. That’s what Dexter would have become if it wasn’t for Harry noticing his sociopathic tendencies as a child.

Harry told Dex to kill Trinity right there

Since Trinity is so good at blending in, I’m sure he knows there’s more to “Kyle” than what he says. Maybe he even suspects “Kyle” to be a killer as well. While I’ve seen some instances of Trinity thinking Dexter is hiding something (like the part about him choosing a weapon), I don’t think he’s really stressing Dexter’s fake name. I really do think that’s the way he says Kyle.

I know all that, I’ve been watching since season one.

I meant dude is dead and is now just the voice in Dexters head. That voice has never contradicted the code though. This was the first time.

Hmmm why not? Took ages for people to find Dexters garbage bags.

The whole point now is that Dexter thinks dude is dormant and treats him as such. If he turns out to be not quite done yet, it could make for some interesting scenarios. I like the idea.

Oh sorry I completely miss read what you wrote, I agree that would be a good twist

Somehow I read it as trinity isn’t the trinity killer its someone else. :razzy:

Hm…that does make sense actually.

I’m liking this season so far, but what bothers me about the show in general (and which has happened in this season) is that Dexter occasionally picks his victims from the criminals that happen to walk into the Miami Metro PD. You’d think that a serial killer trained by a cop to be extremely careful would choose his victims outside of his place of work.

Otherwise, the recent episode was a bit slow–lots of buildup, but still entertaining. Quinn’s reaction when he realized that Dexter one-upped him was hilarious.

Not all the time. In the beginning part of the series, he used old cases to find people. And that cop earlier in this season was from another department if I recall correctly. I forgot how he found/chose her though.

Yeah it was! Quinn = major douche.

Enjoyed this week’s episode.

What’s up with Rita eyeing that weiner of a neighbour?

I’d be very careful having an affair with a women married to a seriel killer.

The season’s coming to a close :frowning: I’m not 100% sure, but there can’t be more than 2, maaaaaybe 3 episodes left.

I hate the gap between Dexter seasons D:

Season’s 1,2, and 3 were both 12 episodes long, and last night’s episode was number 7. so at least 5 more eps left.

last night was ep8. 4 more :woot:
