Series didn’t need a reboot are backtracking to make it modern or up to date. Capcom is king of the retcons.
Capcom’s basically fucking up the story more than it already was fucked up if this really is staying in the series.

SFIV was just an “Alpha” game to me storyline wise once they introduced Bison back in the fold.
Its like they’re afraid of progressing the storyline and are worried people won’t like it when the truth is, people are literally clamoring for more Dante/Virgil/Nero awesomeness again.

I’m not really sure why they feel the need reboot the franchise, they could have just continued on with the Original Dante, the new look is uneeded and clearly unwanted. Hopefully the gameplay will be good so it won’t totally suck, but man does he look like a little bitch. I mean I’m all for updating the artwork and all that good stuff, but come on, something need to be there, it’d be like taking Godzilla, making him pink, smaller, and taking away his atomic breathe, is he really still Godzilla?
Speaking of which, the westernized reimagining of godzilla sucked.
