Well, as a pro, i’m disappointed due the lack of major explanations. The game’s problem that the ending is rushed and the game simply ends and that’s about it.
As soon as Mundus is defeated, Vergil claims that it’s their time to rule. Dante gets angry, Vergil says “stand aside”, boss fight and then ending. basically, Vergil’s downfall should maybe continue the something of the story. Also, Lilith dies ( though the person was a little vague on that, I assume she gets killed by Vergil, during the trade mission).
Mundus battle is also a little lackluster, though I want to see it onscreen. If you play DMC 2, you’ll remember that boss building called Nefasturris. So, Mundus basically is a blob that fuses with parts of the Demon Tower and other buildings.
Also, if you watched the introduction scene, you’ll notice a small window ( don’t know how to describe) showing a red stuff or something like that. Well, that’s the hellgate.
This whole “fanboys gonna hate” angle is so overblown. It’s one thing to pull a Breyer’s on your franchise, another thing to constantly make fun of people for not liking your new “Frozen Dairy Dessert” game. Their whole PR initiative is based on passive aggression, it’s the only reason they can keep making people care. “People stopped being mad? DAMMIT! Throw Vergil in there and make him a punk ass bitch, just do it! No wait make him use guns too” “People aren’t preordering? Give some interviews about appealing to casuals, and diss the old games while you’re at it! That’ll get some salty comments on the forum!” “They accepted the game being bad? Take out Bloody Palace! No no, keep it on the disc, you know how we run things!”.
It’s like if someone got text a picture of their ex-girlfriend covered in jizz from her new boyfriend, and then you being like “why you butthurt, it’s her boyfriend. You mad he uses Verizon?”

NT is going to cobra clutch the reviews as proof the game is good like gaming reviews are some sort of scientific measure.
I was right about the way the cliche story would play out.
I was wrong about NT being good at writing.
The game is a stripped down version of the previous DMCs from gameplay to content.
But hey, it has no backtracking and got rid of that weeaboo anime shit like lock-on.
Its gonna be the fan reviews on this game thats gonna matter at this point. I expect a ton of reviews blasting the game with some of them being middle of the road objective to it.
Telling you right now, I figure Gametrailers will probably give it a 7-7.5. 1UP will probably give it a B-/C.
DmC seriously offends me. This is what a “Western” influence DMC/action game is? Cliches, demon sex, ton of swearing, shit writing and gimped combat and less content included with the initial purchase?
Hey lets be real. When you had Western game companies talking mad shit about how Japan was behind on the times with their games, Japan took it to heart and DmC is what you get unfortunately. They should’ve stuck to their guns like Kojima and Platinum games have done and made the games they like.
It is incredibly ironic that the major theme of this new DmC is fighting against a clandestine system of oppression and control… Yet Ninja Theory and Capcom with gaming magazine review propaganda assist have set up a system to demonize and marginalize all negative response to their shenanigans by writing off any criticism as “fanboy whining” and “haters.” Along with the industry shill “reviewers” telling the uninformed how “great” this game is and telling us our opinions are “wrong” and we should accept that this is the greatest action game of all time despite Bayonetta/the Ninja Gaiden series/the four far better Devil May Cry titles already existing.
When did this kind of trolling and lowering of expectations among the playerbase become acceptable? Why is demanding quality from your purchases so offensive these days?
Gaming is in a sad state these days. The industry is broken and no one seems to notice nor care.
